feelingmyswag:............................................................ Hello You cannot just walk into any Estonian Consulate. Please make sure you get an appointment date. Have you received an admission offer? When you make an application at the Consulate, you will receive a D Visa for 6 months or a year. When you arrive in Estonia, you will now apply for a TRP (Temporary Resident Permit). If your course is for two years, you will get TRP for two years. Kind regards |
Bush2013:........................................ Hello Sorry, no mail has been received. Regards |
Hello You can send an email. Kind regards Please I need your contact.. You're doing a great job here.. If you don't mind getting your number or email..
|
Pcarpd:Hello there, Has any organisation in Estonia requested for hard copies of your documents? If yes, you authenticate this at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (only). The question regarding courier has been answered in a previous thread......DHL ....Please. Kind regards |
Johnjoe231:Hello there, Yes you can move from UAE to Estonia if you have already secured employment (am not sure if you have an employment already from your message). Your wife can come as a Masters student. I would not advise social work in Estonia because its a regulated profession and she needs Estonian language. Regarding the course(s), you would have to research what course you or your wife have a passion, that will be help you eventually in settling down in Estonia. If you are techy, that is a big plus because Estonia is a significant player in the global tech scene. I hope this helps? |

Hello, The most important thing you need to do now is get an admission. Begin to look at universities that offer your intended course(s). Get your educational certificates authenticated Begin to work on your proof of funds .....begin to get your statement or letter of intent to study ready! Hope this helps? |
Victorparker:............................................. Hello, Yes, anyone can study as long as you meet all the requirements. You need to identify the exact course you want to study -I believe it is undergraduate...right? The courses and universities have different entry requirements. Check out the universities, make your choice(s) and begin to apply. This is the best time to begin to collate your documents if you want to go in for next year admissions. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Best wishes. |
slimbullet:................................................... Hello there, Yes you can but why don't you go for a Graduate Program? Regards |

Hello there, The law has changed slightly for students. Your spouse may not be allowed to work but he/she would get a DVisa. The good news is that when you are on ground with a DVisa and you get an employer to stand as your sponsor, the status can be changed to Employment Residence Permit (up to 5years). Another good news is that your spouse can apply to a school (even get a tuition free scholarship) while in Estonia and becomes a student. This is an avenue to study and work at the same time. Hope this helps? |
maridrug:..................................... Hello Congratulations for the conditional offer from Valga County Vocational Centre. If you cannot get to Cairo (which can often be difficult for many people), please do use UAE or Turkey. However, UAE (Abu Dhabi precisely) should be much easier. You can take a plane to Dubai and just take a coach to Abu Dhabi. The visa you would apply for is the D Visa. What you need to do now is to secure an appointment at the embassy. Make sure you get all your documents complete and everything should work out perfectly....hopefully. Best wishes. |
AllDModsAreMaad:................................................................................ Hello Please I will like to correct an error regarding age and time that you did your Bachelors or Masters. Anyone can go back to school anytime. There are no strict restrictions when it comes to studying. Someone came to Estonia as a student from Nigeria last year August at 50years and last Masters was 12 years ago! Most countries will not penalise anyone for wanting to further a new career. You should concentrate on gaining admission and writing very strong motivation letters/justifications. Hope this helps? |
AllDModsAreMaad:............................................................................................................... Hello I will just give you a guide here in terms of necessary funds. If you are on a tight budget, Estonia may not be affordable for you now because of the process of getting there. Am sure you know that you would have to go to Egypt, Turkey or Dubai (or other countries where they have a consul representative) for your DVisa. I would advice you put some money in your account for you to show at the embassy....like N5m+ because of tuition fees and living expenses before you get a job. Let me know if you have any other questions/clarifications. Regards |
AllDModsAreMaad:....................................................................................................................................................... Hello Yes you can study for your masters programme in Estonia. If you come for masters, you will get a two years residence permit, plus 270 days automatically after your studies. You are allowed to work with your Residence Permit and when you complete your studies, you can use your employer to apply for longer term residency. The only problem is the funds that you have indicated that you have. There is possibility of getting scholarship but this is by selected universities, the exact course and your motivation letter (in some cases). I hope this helps? Kind regards |
Cityboy123:.................................................................................................... Hello That's okay. Please do try and go back to Nigeria at the end of the conference. Trust me it will be beneficial for you to reapply and get a longer visa. Best wishes |
Cityboy123:........................................................................................................................................................... Hello It is only an employer that can assist. That employer will need to quickly apply on your behalf for your visa status to change while your visa is still active. It is better for you to travel with the existing visa, go back to Nigeria before the visa expires then apply again. You stand a better chance of getting a longer Schengen Visa (mind you, this will allow you to apply at any other country in the Schengen Area. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but it gives you so much advantage that you travelled, came back and now apply for multiple visa (if possible). You will not be able to do much with 10days visa in Estonia or any other country. But, why apply for 10days? Regards |
This is a "Quoted" official information: In what type of schools may a foreigner study? In Estonia, foreigner may study in: a primary school a gymnasium a vocational educational institution an institution of applied higher education a university an educational institution founded on the basis of a treaty. My response: This may be useful to someone out there! |
UntamedKing:................................................................................................................................... Hello Duolingo test is only accepted in Estonia for European applicants. There are definitely a lot of countries/universities that would offer you an admission without IELTS in Europe. Regards |
UntamedKing:............................................................................................................................ Hello You would need to sit for IELTS. Is that something you can get done? Try and aim for good scores. It would help you not only with Estonia but other countries that you can apply to for Bachelors. Regards |
Do you know that Estonia is the world's most digitally enabled nation. IT guys its a world of opportunities for you. Now you know. Don't be deterred. |
adejoro1988:............................................................................................................................................... Hello Thanks for your input. I would like to point out that for every country that you travel to, it is a risk because your permanent residency is never guaranteed. A lot of these countries are always tweeking their policies now and again, just to make it more stringent. Students are still coming to Estonia and other European countries keep changing policies as well. Also, coming to Estonia as a student is not the only way to get there. Regards |
AbdulAkpan:........................................................................................... Okay, I will get back to you. Regards |
Glocal1:.......................................................................................... Hello Yes to your question |
AbdulAkpan:........................................................................................ Hello Yes there are some Vocational Colleges in Estonia. However, you will need to get an employer at the end so that they can file for you under employment. Anyone is allowed to stay and work, as long as there is an employer who will do this for you. This is a pretty easy route. Let me know if this helps? Regards |
Sleekcode:......................................................... Dear Justcurioius Thanks for your input. Don't be a distraction for people who genuinely want to gain information. Regards |
Sleekcode:................................................ Dear Just curious Thanks for your input! Knowledge is key. We never stop learning. Travel round the world and you will appreciate knowledge. You don't have to travel to Estonia, just be informed!! Thank you |
........................................................................................................................................... Estonia is a beautiful country so you need to let us know when you came for this vacation, where did you go to precisely?? You came on vacation, did you overstay your visa or what happened? Thanks |
Samueltemi337:........................................................................................................................................... Hello Yes, this is what we call different strokes.....what you don't fancy, someone else will see the gold/gem therein. Best wishes. |
Cityboy123:....................................................................................................................................... Hello The insurance you need to get (for you to be on the very safe side) is an European Health Insurance. Please not a travel insurance. The travel insurance covers you when you go on holidays for emergencies and all. However, because you are going as a student or another, you need A HEALTH INSURANCE. You will get the one that will cover you for at least a year. You need to check the website of the embassy that you would be submitting your application. The key documents are: Your valid passport Proof of funds (I don't know if you are going as a student or for employment) Health Insurance Letter of Admission Proof of accommodation MAKE SURE YOU VALIDATE YOUR CERTIFICATES If you are going to be sponsored, let your sponsor give quality tax clearance (if he or she owns a business), bank statements, other documents that demonstrate good ties in Nigeria You may need other documents (dependent on the stream you are going for) Best wishes |
The World Health Organization has ranked Estonia's air as some of the cleanest air in the world, along with countries like Finland and Iceland. The quality of life is extremely great. |
Do you know that you can register a business in Estonia in one day?? |
