TheSuperNerd: Brilliant breakdown of the Osimhen 200 Goals Count. All accurate. And the overall appearance count is indeed 335. Well done on noting the NT caps is 51 and not 52 (Nullified Togo game in 2017).
But there is just one thing and it is the Assists count of Osimhen. Now, remember I mentioned to you that I did a clean resweep of Osimhen's stats after that Owngoal assist recheck. So, I found that 10 of the 51 assists are "penalties won" and not actual Opta-standard assists. So the question is, should we really count the "pens won" as assists too?
As for the NT Goals record held by Yekini, it easily falls this year. No escape! Osimhen delivered 9 goals across 10 NT caps in the 2025 Calendar year. In 2026, he is already on 3 goals from 3 NT games. I expect the run to continue with games to come in friendlies/Playoffs (March/June) and the Afcon 2027 Qualifiers in September, October and November starting from Sept 21. With possibilities for more games in June/July window depending on if we get into the march playoffs, it only gives more room for the record to be shattered beyond recognition. Lol So you finally acknowledge Nigeria chance of still making it to the world cup. You keep avoiding the debate, I was like TheSuperNerd has not make any comment about this issue it's it even geniue even when somebody called you out on it you still ignored him. Good to see you acknowledge Nigeria chance maybe you are one of those guys here who are keeping their hopes on the low so that they will not feel disappointed, because for more than seven eight years we have been here you have shown consistency, dedication and there is even a time years back I suggested to you to try and monetize your effort here with my other account that was blocked. |

This is wickedness at its peak how can you sabotage a whole team because of playing time, yobo as a captain escorted the super eagles to win the afcon in South Africa he didn't play much he won the cup
Chukwueze have silver and bronze already if you're not getting game time why sabotage the team why not tell the coach you don't want to play, this is wickedness am just hurt. |

Mujtahida: He praised Lookman. In fact he was insinuating that Lookman wasn't happy that's why he didn't shine in the last match and that we should make Lookman happy. I was like Lookman that was jumping all over Osimhen?
He lavished praise on Akor and Bassey. On Osimhen, he just glossed over the guy's performance.
I like Oliseh very much but I see why he can't make a good coach for Nigeria. He's somebody that will polarize the team. Remember how he sidelined Obi Mikel. oh! Sorry to come in, right from the issue osimhen got with finidi the whole 1994 set has that dislike for him they can't show it out because osimhen has beat everybody expectations. I was watching soccer Africa during the world Cup qualifier and the anchor was like " Nigeria got there world Cup qualification on track thanks to osimhen" Not the exact verbatim but something like that and idah peterside brush it aside as if the name osimhen is irritating to him then went further to talk about the team in general. |

Osimhen even openly said he doesn't care if he never gets called up again to the SE as a result of insulting Finidi. Imagine person wey for dey Olusosun dey hawk gala if not for NFF wey put am for U-17.

typicalgamer: It seems you still haven’t gotten used to super eagles these highly technical teams we can beat them with physicality and counter play so I’m not scared of Morocco
I’m scared of not so good teams that are very physical playstyle
Those are the teams that gives us headaches Lol, you are not scared of Morocco, We always find it difficult to beat this north Africa team, the last afcon we got to the final without meeting them. In 2019 we got defeated by Algeria and manage to beat Tunisia by a goal in the third place match. Tunisia came back to hurt us in 2021 in the knockout stage. Be wary of those North Africa team they are deadly. I pray we top the group to avoid morroco. |

I don't know why the South African🇿🇦 are so bend of making sure that Nigeria did not go to the world Cup, first it was their FA chairman showing they disgust for the super eagle's and now this.
Please for those who don't know Thomas kwenaite he is the founder of soccer Africa in super sport

🚨 An African football expert has alleged that it appears that somebody in FIFA wants Super Eagles at the World Cup
🌍 Veteran African football journalist Thomas Kwenaite has alleged that unseen forces within Fifa may be pushing for Nigeria's qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
👤 Kwenaite 🎤: "I somehow get a feeling that there's somebody higher up either in CAF or Fifa in particular who wants Nigeria at the World Cup by hook or crook.
"Who tipped Nigeria that South Africa fielded an ineligible player in Teboho Mokoena? Who tipped Nigeria again that the DR Congo have nine ineligible players?
"When they tipped them about South Africa, Nigeria still failed to qualify. They are now tipping them about the DR Congo. Heaven knows, I think Nigeria are clutching at straws.
"They lost on the field of play and must be gracious enough. They must be sportsmen enough to accept that this was not their time. Maybe the next World Cup, or the one after that, they will qualify." |
