I have seen all of that Bro. There is not one of the all time classics I am yet to watch. There is a reason why I specifically picked mayweather out of this current bunch. No one is for a second saying this era is much better. However We should stop underrating this current era. Why it did not happen years ago is anyone's guess. If you have watched those 4 fighters and still think Mayweather will last the distance against Hagler in particular, then I don't know what to say.The other 3 maybe (though I think Hearns also stands a great chance of beating him).Everyone boxing afficionado, thinks these era sucks, it's well documented.From the number of fights per year to number of rounds, boxing is not just what it used to be, whatever division or weight is put under scrutiny.

I think we tend to overrate Boxers from eras gone by and underrate those from this current Gen. People say things like " Oh Sugar Ray Leonard would have KOed Mayweather if they ever met". Because Haglers strength is defence and Mayweather is the greatest defender of all time. The technijcal match-up favours Mayweather.

Hagler's forte is not defence.The fact he can take punches and keep coming doesn't indicate that.While I wouldn't argue the fact Mayweather is a smart pugilist, I don't think his record will remain untainted in that era.

We all enjoyed Haggler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran and cos rivalry, but dont hate on Floyd for being dominant.
De La Hoya, Cotto, Pacman and Marquez woulda been like the 80s rivalry but Floyd made it boring by dominating them, hence there's no rivalry.
This is why I tell ninjas that Larry Holmes may just be the best heavyweight ever. Just because a ninja dominate his era does not mean the other fighters in that era are crap, it just means the ninja is dominant and that dampens the excitement of the era.

And May made it worse with his style.His last 3 "fights" actually have been more bewildering than sighting the moon before the ramadan.
