These vehicles definitely come with Salvage titles and they are cleared for 1.6m. So how much is it to clear the Clean title of this same vehicle.

My point is, for example if am bringing in two 2016 Honda Accord, and I bought one for $8,000, and the second one for $12,000, the Custom duty for the two cars should be different eventhough the two cars are the same model and year based on the new policy.

Government dont use black market dollar rate, the official dollar rate is used for calculating custom duty.

I can see Custom duty estimation of different vehicles posted here.

But isn't the new government Custom duty policy that kicked off in Feb 2021 based on the value of the car as against the old policy where duty is calculated based on year & model of the car.
