FELLOW NIGERIANS, Complaining about the state of the nation on social media or under umbrellas in the neighborhood won't change our reality. Real power isn’t in a post; it’s in your hands, and it’s called your Permanent Voter Card (PVC). With the 2027 General Elections fast approaching, we cannot afford to sit on the fence. WHY YOUR PVC MATTERS RIGHT NOW: YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE: If you don't choose your leaders, you give up your right to demand accountability. THE POWER TO CHOOSE: Bad leaders are elected by good citizens who stay home on election day. Your PVC is your weapon to shape the future of our economy, security, and infrastructure. NO PVC, NO VOTE: No matter how much passion you have for Nigeria, without that card, you are statistically invisible on election day. THE CLOCK IS TICKING: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is running the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. If you have turned 18, changed your location, lost your card, or never registered, the time to act is now. Do not wait for the final weeks when the queues will be long. Get up, visit the nearest INEC office or registration center, get registered, and make sure you collect your card. Let’s stop being spectators in our own country. Get your PVC, guard it safely, and let’s make our voices count in 2027! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
They know there is hardship in the land. Collect your PVC and vote wisely in 2027. Thanks |
Governor seyi Makinde has excellently performed, your presidential interest is a good one. 2027 should be a game changer. |

A Lawful Appeal to the Leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) on Grassroots Mobilisation Through Local Government Excos In every thriving democracy, political strength is built not only at the national or state level but, more importantly, from the grassroots. It is at the local government and ward levels that political consciousness is nurtured, participation is deepened, and the true connection between a party and the people is established. It is in this regard that this appeal is respectfully directed to the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), both at the national and state levels, to urgently consider the inauguration of Local Government Executives (Excos) across all states of the federation. The establishment of duly recognized and functional local government party structures is not merely an administrative necessity, it is a constitutional and democratic imperative. By extension, political parties are expected to operate in a manner that promotes inclusiveness, representation, and active citizen engagement at all levels. Without functional local government executives, the party risks remaining distant from the very people it seeks to represent. Grassroots mobilisation becomes difficult, coordination weakens, and the enthusiasm of willing members and supporters may gradually diminish. On the other hand, inaugurating local government excos will: Strengthen party visibility and presence in communities, encourage mass registration of new members, provide a structured channel for communication between leadership and the grassroots, enhance political education and awareness among citizens, lay a solid foundation for credible participation in future elections. Furthermore, local government excos serve as the engine room for political activities such as voter education, campaign coordination, conflict resolution, and community engagement. Their absence creates a vacuum that limits the growth and effectiveness of the party. At a time when many Nigerians especially youths and first-time voters are seeking credible alternatives and platforms to express their political aspirations, the NDC has a unique opportunity to position itself as a people-centered and grassroots-driven movement. However, this can only be achieved through deliberate structural development starting from the local level. This appeal, therefore, calls on the national leadership to provide clear directives, guidelines, and timelines for the inauguration of local government executives nationwide. State chapters should, in turn, take proactive steps to ensure transparent, inclusive, and credible processes in constituting these structures. The future of any political party lies in its ability to connect with the people at the grassroots. The time to act is now. By inaugurating local government excos, the NDC will not only strengthen its internal democracy but also demonstrate its readiness to serve as a true vehicle for the aspirations of the Nigerian people. A strong grassroots is the foundation of a strong party and a strong party is essential for a vibrant democracy. |

I write to respectfully appeal to the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and all well-meaning stakeholders within our great party. I am a committed member and supporter of the NDC with a strong passion to serve the people of Oyo State. It has always been my desire to contribute meaningfully to governance, grassroots development, and the advancement of our democratic values. In line with this vision, I have a genuine interest in contesting for the position of Member, Oyo State House of Assembly. However, I am faced with a financial challenge, as I am currently unable to afford the cost of the nomination and expression of interest forms required to pursue this aspiration. This situation has created a major barrier despite my willingness, capability, and dedication to serve under the platform of our great party. It is on this note that I humbly appeal to the leadership of the NDC to kindly consider supporting me with the nomination and expression forms, either free of charge or through any available assistance scheme. This act of support will not only help me actualize my ambition but will also demonstrate the party’s commitment to inclusiveness, fairness, and equal opportunity for all members, regardless of financial status. I remain loyal to the NDC and fully committed to its growth, unity, and success. I believe that with your support, I can represent the people effectively and uphold the values our party stands for. Thank you for your understanding and anticipated support. |
This is not the best time to talk about primary election. The people kidnapped at orire local government need urgent attention. Lives is more precious than primary election. |
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially opened another window for voter registration, transfer of voter details, and replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). This presents a valuable opportunity for all eligible citizens to take an active role in shaping the future of our nation. Every vote counts, and the foundation of a strong democracy lies in the participation of its people. Whether you are registering for the first time, updating your voting location, or replacing a missing card, this is the right moment to act. We therefore encourage all Nigerians who are eligible to visit their nearest INEC offices and complete the necessary processes. By doing so, you are not only exercising your civic right but also contributing to the development of a better, more inclusive, and representative country. Let us seize this opportunity responsibly and peacefully. Together, through lawful participation, we can build the nation we all desire. Your vote is your voice, make it count. |
This is outrageous amount. This will deny many who are ready to serve to contest. Anyway, let's focus on obi |
This is where some churches are getting it wrong. Campaigning in church programme. Please, let's know the name of the church |
The utterances of this man is totally different. How will you say all mentioned persons are the same while he himself has not tasted local government chairman. I think people should focus more on things that will better Nigeria. |
He has done his part but let him allow another person to continue to give uninterrupted electricity, security, affordable fuel ⛽ price. Thank you for your time |
I humbly appeal to the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to kindly provide the official office location in Ibadan, Oyo State, as well as a reachable phone number for inquiries. There are many interested individuals, members, supporters, youths, and adults who are eager to register and actively participate in the growth of the party. However, the lack of clear contact details is making it difficult for willing citizens to connect and get involved. Providing this information will greatly enhance accessibility, encourage participation, and strengthen the party’s presence in Oyo State. We are ready. We are willing. NDC—let’s gather here and move forward together. |
