Sand dredging in a residential area also a risk factor for building collapse. Why should sand excavation be allowed in a residential area, do you understand the environmental impact?

You see, one of the problems with that building collapse in that area is this, that ijegun part is a swampy Area - water log Area.

Most of the houses in that area has faulty/weak foundations, this happened in their quest to cut corners on the huge cost of raising a solid concreted foundation on a swampy ground.

The Lagos State government must put a halt to the unlawful sand dredging that occurs around the clock in Ijegun-imore Waterside, Satellite Town, and Amuwo Odofin. How can the government tolerate illicit sand mining on rivers in a residential area?
