Business / Re: Package Delivery Problems: USPS And NIPOST by kabbadoll: 1:13am On Nov 27, 2008 |
The best way to send mail, in my opinion living in the states and save a little money, is to send it "REGISTERED MAIL" through the USPS because it is under CONSTANT lock and key until it reaches it's destination!!! The only downfall to that is that the package CAN'T be over FOUR pounds!! I had the unfortunate instance to have lost a package sent to my fiance visiting home in Agege, Lagos that was valued at $220.00!!! Luckily, I had it insured!!! I sent a package "registered mail" however and it arrived there safely and untouched!! If you can afford DHL, UPS, or FED EX then by all means use their services! I feel bad for anyone that had packages "stolen" because I don't believe they are ever lost!! Actually, the package that I had stolen never made it past Florida during their tracking investigation process before they paid me my insurance claim money! It can be stolen anywhere!!! |
