The Headlinenews.news investigative reporters in London filed in a report regarding the recent detention of Peter Obi on arrival in London.

Peter Obi arrived in London on board a British Airways flight and was invited by the immigration authorities and served a Detention Order. investigations revealed that Obi had been placed on the UK watch list as several criminal offences were uncovered which indicted Peter Obi.

It appears that the wide investigations on Ekweremadu’s matter opened a can of worms to the activities of the IPOB and Ibo network in the UK.
Ibo businesses in the UK are being investigated as they usually serve as fronts for various illegal activities from Narcotics, Money Laundering, Arms & Ammunition deals, Electronic fraud, Stealing from the UK Government, operating illegal businesses especially export & importation, transhipment of banned items, tax evasion etc. It appears the British Government has realised that the Ibos are the ethnic tribe from Nigeria who have been involved in all the criminal operations in the country.

The Govt is also aware from reports that Ibos are in jails all over the world for drugs business, money laundering, electronic fraud etc.

The contact stated that the criminal investigative dpt stumbled on leads during their wider investigations which is being pursued diligently till they have all the evidence they need.
He further explained that Peter Obi’s interrogation was conducted ‘under caution’ and that implies that they are already unto a very important statement for a big case. He said there has to be a very serious offence before a Detention Order is raised. He stated its not like other countries where Detention orders are issued on speculative matters. The British system is quite different and DOs are part of the build up for a case which would be charged to Court. He said the British authorities are carrying out their lawful duties and have no reason to apologise to Peter Obi. He said Peter Obi is just like any Nigerian who is subject to investigation, interrogation and prosecution if found guilty of any contravention against UK Laws. He advised that the followers of Obi are complicating his case with all their forged letters of apology and lies. Furthermore, such followers have proved that they have low morale value and would do anything to cover their tracks which make them more of a problem than support to their hero.

He confirmed that Obi knows the line of questioning he went through in the UK. In the UK, investigation continues till it is the time for arrest.

Our reporter stated a source he interviewed explained that Peter Obi’s brother- in law was arrested in the UK with Heroine & Cocaine which he confirmed he was transporting for Peter Obi. He was jailed and is still serving his jail term. The UK authorities may be concluding the investigation on that case and others linked to the same Baron. It appears there are other people who claim Peter Obi gave them drugs to transport to UK, Canada etc.

In the meantime, according to reports, an NGO has submitted petitions to the DSS, NIA regarding Peter Obi’s activities in Nigeria and Abroad with facts and details. We are still trying to obtain a copy of the petition. The petition is supposed to give more information on the drug syndicate Obi leads, Money laundering, Arms, Ammunition importation with contacts and hideouts, Terrorism Sponsorship ( IPOB, ESN, Unknown Government) with details of financial transaction, Importation of arms along with the goods for his Next Supermarket in Containers, Ibos in lagos involved in the same importation of arms, their modus operandi etc. All effort to obtain a copy proved abortive.
