Concerning flights, If you have the luxury of time, why not book KLM? Lagos to London is about 230k and transit visa is just about 60k. The transit visa takes about 7 to 10 working days.... Overall, it just might be cheaper than we think...

Congratulations...this is a case study.i suggested this to someone but he said it's not possible...that one shouldnt pay for ihs and visa before your 28days POF clocks else it's automatic visa refusal.

Application date: 20th of June (the date I paid Visa fee and IHS)

Online submission: 14th of July (When I uploaded my documents and finally submitted application)

Biometric: 15th of July

Collection email: 29th of July (2 weeks after biometrics)
Collected today 30th with Visa stamped!

I was afraid because due to some “error” I had done what had been advised against, but thank God!

N.B: Proof of funds had not gotten up to 28 days as at 20th of June when I paid Visa fee and IHS.

Abeg, at what point does UKVI start to consider the application as submitted? Is it after paying all the necessary fees or after uploading? My friend has payed all but he hasn’t uploaded because his POF is still remaining a few days but his checklist is showing “submitted date” and he is worried...
Any ideas? Make we start to worry?
