Kingmojo: That's why 2 in 4 Nigerians are not the father of their children. Go figureYeah, and that's really sad, because some of these children end up inheriting huge properties from these men, yet they are biologically not theirs ![]() |
Kingmojo: Still better than anything that comes out of a nigerian mouth. There was one nigerian guy in my class, every time we did presentation people will complain that they can't understand him. A lot of foreigners that watch african movies says the same about nigerian movies that it is hard to understand them. Ask any african or other foreigners which country speaks the best English between Ghanaians and Nigerians and u will get your answerLOL, Nigerian speaking negatively about Ghanaian English pronunciation? Wonders they say, shall never end I was also enrolled in a course where T.A.s took turns to teach the large class. One of them was a Nigerian guy. Students in the class complained bitterly about his accent because they couldn’t understand him. To the extent that they wrote a petition to the course coordinator asking that he stop teaching because they couldn’t understand him. Unfortunately for the students and fortunately for him, he was allowed to continue teaching, and he made this announcement to the class:“I jos want to say this to the class, I am a T.A. for this course, and I will continue teaching, if you have any problem with my accent, you can walk out” Courageous guy isn’t he? BTW I never had or heard of any of the Ghanaian profs having problem with students concerning their Ghanaian accent/pronunciation. They are all doing fine ![]() |
Well, if you have it, flaunt it. That's exactly what she's doing with her beautiful body BTW she's no way unclad to me |
Mogidi: For tribalism Nigeria would rank highest but for racism we rank lowest. We like Oyimbo more than we do are own race.@ bolded True say. To the extent that they even adore the oyinbo skin and despise the black skin SMH |
Lilimax:@ bolded LOL! What's that? I'm curious ![]() |
A beautiful lady, but she definitely needs to shed some weight. That body is too big for my liking ![]() |
tspun: does ur wife help in paying the bride price. If u say yes that some wife help then i say yes some husband help in carryin the baby also.Wow! So paying bride price means your wife becomes a maid . You and those guys who gave you a "like" are birds of the same feathers ![]() |
She tries to look elegant, but the most elegant in the whole of Africa ![]() That's a joke |
ItsModella: but look at Majid na, he's lacking in height alright but his other attributes more than make up for his height deficiency. See his fine face and his clean cut. Reason am naSeconded! I'll usually go for a tall guy over a short guy. But just as I'll take T.I. over Morris Chestnut, I'll take Majid over 2Face any day any time. Even though they lack the height, they are just toooo fine! ![]() |
Journalism in Africa sucks! Always making stories with no basis in real evidence whatsoever. Geez! |
Most Naija girls I see don't look any better than this lady. Let the girls on this thread all post their pics, and the guys post pics of their sisters for us to see, or keep their mouth muted ![]() |

Happyness_Chima: Thanks. Ill look at it. But God how long shall I remain like this ?@ bolded Until the time is ripe. No need to rush, lest you regret. |

Royal^Pearl^:My sis don’t mind him, He’s just trying to be funny If kokonte can stick to his stomach, then akpu and the Yoruba fufu would do likewise. They are all made from the same 100% cassava. From what I just learned from my Yoruba friend, what they call fufu is exactly our Kokonte. The cassava goes through the same process, and the same method of cooking. So the Yoruba fufu is exactly our Kokonte. Akpu on the other hand is similar to what we call agblema banku (cassava banku) a staple for the Adangbes and Krobos. They are both made from fermented cassava. If Londoner had tried our cassava banku when she was in Ghana, I believe it would have tasted like akpu. @ rhymz Although we have different types of fufu in Ghana, they taste similar. However, our kokonte, which is the same as Yorubas fufu, tastes nothing like our fufu, and our cassava banku, which is similar to akpu, also tastes nothing like our fufu. So in our “little Ghana”, Yoruba fufu is our Kokonte, and akpu is our cassava banku. In “little Ghana” we just don’t view Kokonte aka Yoruba fufu, and cassava banku aka akpu as fufu. SORRY TO WHOEVER HAS A PROBLEM WITH THAT, but it's what it is. BTW, although the name fufu originated from the Akan ethnic group, and it's for the type of food we call fufu, others can still call their own version fufu, but in "little Ghana" they are NOT fufu. |
alanmwene: I don't think "fufu" is a ghanian "invention"!What you have listed are not fufu. The Zimbabwe sadza and Congolese, Kenyan, and Tanzanian ugali are similar to what the Ewes in Ghana call akple. They are totally different from fufu. Compare this with the fufu video I posted earlier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYo4uqJvb1Y |
solomon111: You are basing your facts on wikipedia? The bolded Info from the same Wikipedia says AMALA is a Nigerian (Yorubas) invention. Do you agree with that, or that info could have also been edited by Nigerians, making it not valied ![]() |
Royal^Pearl^:My sis don't mind him, he should go take a chill pill. What a crying baby ![]() |
@kenyattaMoore:The word comes from the Akan language as stated in the afore-mentioned info...I never heard of any meaning, so I guess it's just a name. My 2 cents! |
spoofproof:It's also pronounced FUFUI by the Gas ![]() |
Royal^Pearl^:Nyame adom oooo! ![]() |
Iykeponti: MUMU GO N ASK UR GRANDFADAS WEY COME HUSTLE IN D S.E OF NAIJA, NOT GOOGLE. Besides Ghana get any food of their own b4?What is this one saying Is he losing it ![]() |
Royal Pear, Ete sen? ![]() |
ItsModella: why are you pissed tho? I don't know who has been calling ghanaians fufu eaters but fufu is also a nigerian food. So it makes no sense why a nigerian would call a ghanaian fufu eater...but anyway, you need to calm down.My sis I'm not pissed ooo... far from that And you sound like you haven't been on those Ghana bashing threads on NL Maybe they call us fufu eaters because we eat it more than you folks ![]() |
ItsModella: ![]() BTW my Yoruba friend brought me shito when she went to visit Naija, so I assume shito is common there Please don't claim that one ooo! Ebe Ghana's famous condiment .... Just enjoy it ONE LOVE! |
