Hello all. Please can I use an appointment meant for a B2 visa for an F1 visa instead? And vice-versa?

Hello everyone. Please my parents are trying to interview for a visiting visa but they were unable to secure the same date for interview and have used up all rescheduling slots.
Is it advisable for them to go separately or are the chances of approval higher if they go together?

Hello everyone. Please I started filling my DS-160 and used the confirmation number to book my visa appointment. Now I am trying to complete the DS-160 form and obtain the confirmation page but I am unable to retrieve my application as it keeps on saying “surname does not match”.
I have been trying to call the US embassy to no avail.
Please does anyone have any idea what I can do?

Please I need advice on what documents my parents need to take to the embassy for B1/B2 visa next year.
I was unable to find the same interview date for them.

I intend for them to come for my graduation either in December 2025/May 2026 (it has not been concluded yet, and I cannot obtain an invitation letter from the school yet).

Hello, so I just got Dec 2024 from May 2025, when you see this please go check seems like some dates are dropping now. I am no longer able to see the calendar as I used my last slot to secure this December date.

For those yet to receive any notification, in the past there have been those who won who for whatever reason were not notified by email, until the list comes out, please keep praying and keep your fingers crossed.
