Dfavouredone: How do u guys normally aced the dragnet test - share some tips pls.

A friend told me that one way to do that is to register twice - one with a real detail and another with a fake details. schedule ur fake details first and ur real details later.

When u write the with the fake details u will need to cram the questions and provide solutions to them and then go and write for ur real details later or the next day.

And many other different wicked strategy. That is how most of these guys pass dragnet.

Pls share ur strategy.

majekdom2: the engineers didnt do that last year tho plus I think a new development is engaging hr personnels from another country . 90 percent on merit I can say.

majekdom2: first : only a small number would be contacted , then a phone interview and then assessment centre . at the assessment centre, one would write some short numerical test. I guess you were expecting some chams city or thousands of invitation kind of test. I dont think they do that. initial screening starts from the application sent .

I have a question abt the test..becos i read the thread for last year and there was no mention of a test...

luvola: I am a bookworm while in the university having graduated with 2.1 bsc accounting but right now ,I am below average in aptitude test due to low moral , fustration . Finished service last year june so it 13months of job hunting and still counting . I have lost confidence in such a way that I now believe I can never pass an aptitude test again. Even a nairalander still called me a fustrated over age job seeker 2 days ago using my predicament to abuse me . Well I can't blame him ,na condition make cray fish head bend. I will be heading to several audit firms tomorrow to drop CVs ,hope I see God's favour.

i believe ur still brillant and can change the tide. I will advice u buy a gmatt textbook and start practicing. U can start @ 15mins per day. I just read that some guys waited 3 years...so dont loose hope

From the thread we can see that they are working on the results of our aptitude test and hopefully by next week we will knw get messages. I believe we should all be optimistic.

toobasky: Am saying there is no point applying because I have no experience at all and am very sure if they are goin to employ about 16 like it or not they are going to choose those with little experience out of the pool of people with experience that applied and passed. Hey am not being pessimistic jst realistic but there is no harm in appying sha as for me I won't bother. Speaking for myself though dunno abt you.

i get ur point but i also think that the people that have experience were once inexperienced and still got employed. Experience does nt matter thats why is graduate field engineer

2sExy1: not really but that could have been the case. They told other that space had been fill up and that they should re-apply for the next one, which I guess is this one that is out.

2sExy1: I will advice that if you have 2.2, apply to baker hughes. They dont look at your GP but what matter most, before applying, structure you CV very well and do as many research as possible.

Some of my friends are there already from last April recruitment, while some were asked to reapply

p4all: finally, i have come to a conclusion that all these aptitude test is more about accuracy than number of questions answered.
In SHELL, i wrote only 11 out of 16 and made it to recruitment day. In Halli i did only 17 out of 20 and made it to interview finally this NLNG, i did 25 out of 30 for verbal, 14 out of 18 for numerical, 23 out of 24 for abstract and 15 out of 15 for mechanical reasoning and still made it. The only common thing in all these is that i TRY TO BE 99.999 PERCENT SURE BEFORE PICKING AN ANSWER. I am just saying what i noticed. it might help somebody some day. congrats to all those that made it with me. Runs out of thread till i get an offer letter.
