The Lord has done it again, student visa sub 572 granted for family of 5
Submitted application on the 30th sept.
CO called on 28th oct. ( She asked so many question for about 20min) and asked me to go for medicals
Went for medicals on the 31st( cos my hubby is hypertensive which is been managed, the panel doctor asked for th last 6months medical report)
Medicals finally submitted by panel doctor on the 18th Nov.
Visa granted on 26th Nov.
Glory be to Almighty God for seeing us through.

please who has done medicals for 189 visa recently at Fatayi Williams Hospital and how long did it take. is it something that can be done in 2 hours. Is the Radiology centre close to Fatayi Williams Clinic. I am going with kids and hardly travel to Lagos.I don't know the distance between the two Clinics.

For the kids, it is 22k...FW just increased their prices.

For student visa, the letter states that I do medical examination, chest xray, hiv,hapettis b and c. For my spouse and one of d kids its medical examination and xray and for d two other kids its just medical examination. I want to go on friday that's why I want know how much it will cost us and what to take along apart from our passport. thanks

bossladyMo: Okay, thanks. Yes frontloading leads to a direct grant. Wish I could frontload, but I'm currently expecting, so have to hold up on the X-ray...and only the CO can approve that.

AL3! This is interesting thought it takes longer time, am submitting my application this week, was thinking the polio vaccine cert must be included in the application. I am also for AL3. Congrats once again

iriferi: Finally Nigerians Can Smile... Visa Granted this Morning 15/09/2014. Applied 2/9/14, Pretoria Received it on 5/9/14. Did medicals Prior to Lodgement on 29/08/14. Did Vaccination on 12/09/14 when asked to. Thanks to Almighty God (for He is the One that touched and moved Everyone that needs to be Touched and moved), next to my parents and family members... you dont need to show any family ties since you are applying with your family. but with assesment level3 and you applying with family, make sure you package well excepially your bank account. are you self sponsor?

All d kids are enrolled, paid half of their tution each, heve $22k left from my own ttution and N19m in my spouse's acct, he is my sponsor (do u think that's enough?)

I am for AL3 and yes applying with my family.

FutureDon: Yes please include the PVC for yourself, spouse and kids if you've got them. Certified copied of your kids immunisation card demonstrating that a polio vaccine has been administered would suffice too.

FutureDon: I was initially worried about this too . You'll be re/vaccinated at Fatayi-Willams Clinic (not sure about Abuja). I think the price is around 2,500 - I can't remember for sure.

symbian03: I'm also going for packaged courses. I'd advise you to search the internet for sample SOP and then try to fine-tune it to fit your circumstances!
