horlahsunbo225:OK, thank you replying. I do not have a BSc. If I'm to apply for BSc though, do I have a chance? |
Hello all. Thanks in advance to anyone who would respond to me. I intend to apply for an Associates Degree to a few schools with deadline to 2021 fall semester still not passed. My concern is, will I be able to get an interview date in time before school resumes this fall? Also, I would like to know if the Associates Degree path will diminish my likelyhood of getting a visa. I wish to get an associates degree because it is less expensive and would actually give me the skills I need for a business idea I'm working on much quicker. Thank you and all the best to all hopefuls. |
GambaOsaka:Trump lost popular votes even his first term. Wetin save am na say he won college votes. Even then sef, he say them rig am. The guy is annoyingly narcissistic. I never see person wey be like am. E dey shock am say human being fit win am for election. For him mind, he be Ghandi. |
Openbusiness:At every single stage of this Biden win, you don project Trump re-election with different theories. Each time they throwway Trump stupid voter fraud claims, una go change mouth, change goal post. But make I clear you once and for all, whether you wan take am or not, na your business. You fit come naira land every day declare the new thing wey dey trend for MAGA kingdom, e no go change anything. So here is it, Trump's only true card was to frustrate the efforts of college electors today by delaying the states' vote certifications. In USA laws, if the electoral college meets and there are still uncounted/uncertified votes, the state legislators step in, discard popular votes, appoint new electors. That will favour Trump. That was his game plan. All the bullshit cases he was bringing was just to delay the states' vote certifications, but it failed. All 50 states certified, electors will vote accordingly. Trump knows he is out. You want martial law? Oya go declare am, then you go know say America no be your backyard. |
Openbusiness:I don't recollect saying he isn't legally enlightened. |
Openbusiness:Just imagine the reasoning of person wey sabi speak English. One day your head sha go clear. Now you're in your peak, reason go dey like carnality to you now. |
Openbusiness:Not recuse, and definitely not fake news (which is the new ecstatic phrase for the royally gullible fellows today). The SCOTUS threw out Trump's case in 32 minutes with just one sentence. I won't bother to show you source, you'll yell fake news as usual. But it is done and dusted, he and his rudiculous legal team are never to bring the stupid and baseless case to any other court in the United States. Which explains why the shady Attorney General of Texas filed a lawsuit that has been described by the legally enlightened as long shot and stupid, because what the heck is his business with other state's laws? Oh and hear, the Solicitor General's signature isn't even on that lawsuit. And as for the numerous states you said joined the suit, dude, LOL. That doesn't mean crap! Trump and his men are just throwing stuff on the wall to see what sticks. They come to social media and their stupid news channels, scream 'massive fraud', but in court, they change mouth. Watch how the Texan case gets laughed out today too. Ever since the election, Trump has been shifting goal posts. Everyday it's a new false claim, they will release the Kraken, they will bring undeniable evidences, yet nothing. SCOTUS threw out his case for lacking merits, they spent barely 30 minutes on the biggest (most preposterous) case in the United States, yet you, Nigerian, absolutely clueless about the law, just droning out what your conspiracist put into your mouth, think Trump is coming. Una. |
Openbusiness:Dude, do you even know the content of that suit? Just for your perusal: "To safeguard public legitimacy at this unprecedented moment and restore public trust in the presidential election, this Court should extend the December 14, 2020 deadline for Defendant States' certification of presidential electors to allow these investigations to be completed," he wrote. "Should one of the two leading candidates receive an absolute majority of the presidential electors' votes to be cast on December 14, this would finalize the selection of our President. The only date that is mandated under the Constitution, however, is January 20, 2021." Dey here dey imagine complete overturn of the election while even the man wey file the suit is only hoping for a extended deadline for certification. And just to show you how stupidly desperate Trump people dey, these changes they are calling unconstitutional were made since last year, they waited until days to electoral college's decision to challenge it. If to say Trump win, them for still challenge the changes? |
If you guys only understood what money injection means. |
Every time I read comments on Nairaland, I'm terrified about the future of Nigeria. A whole lot of you are lost causes. I bet your fathers reasoned the way you do now, I bet that's why the nation is what it is now, I bet there really is no hope for Nigeria. |
sisimmi:It is heartbreaking, I don't even know what to think. No wonder Nigeria is where it is today. |
majekdom2:Una go just dey talk rubbish. |
@op did you really really have to use Pastor Chris's picture where you did? It reeks of hypocritical self-righteousness. Folks like you will surprised when you get to heaven. And if you think God would want any of his children to continue in an abusive marriage, I don't even know what to say to you. If you actually study God you'd see exceptions all the time. Sometimes religious interpreters of the Bible are the reason some see a monster in a loving God. I can't wish you evil but I hope IF your child marries a rather abusive man, her life and the future if her kids threatened, you'll still preach God hates divorce. You just haven't seen shit. Let me tell you, there are situations you will blow the brains of someone out and it won't count as sin. Even in the 9ld testament when there wasn't grace God made exceptions when situations call for it. There is no complete rule in the Bible or anywhere else on how to proceed on every single occurrence in life. And I read something you wrote on sticking with an abusive man even if it leads to your death, dude that's suicide, do that and you roast in hell. |
Ejomax77:Imagine that, a menial worker and a bank manager!!! I thought it was a normal banker to menial worker comparison sef |
Stop kidding, it all depends on the individual. I have a friend that prior to completing his 4 year course built a 2 storey apartment, sent his dad a late model pathfinder, has car, lives in a good apartment from 3k dollars monthly salary. First he saved to buy a taxi, drove it after school hours. You can live on a thousand dollars a month in the states, rent inclusive. It depends on the individual, I have a friend in London that works in her dad's company, earns thousands of pounds monthly but complains that it's not enough all the time. When she came to visit me in Accra, she ate KFC everyday, transport to every place on uber, I saw why money is never enough for her. |
I went to the same university in Ghana with one of his daughters, a tom boy, beautiful, and very kind. You couldn't imagine my shock when I learnt she was Eze ego's daughter, the man we used to gather as kids and tell tales about looking at calendars with pictures of his fleets of exotic cars. Small world. |
Never mind. Thanks |
you know when I read people saying all that crap about No God, I just can't stop wondering how anyone could get so blind, but it gets a lot unsurprising when you know a little about the deception of the devil. my experiences with God are beyond the written pages of any book and the four walls of any religious establishment. And unless reality is only as real as you call it, I don't know what a human will say to get me to think otherwise about God's existence. And I'm certain everyone who's experienced Him in a similar personal manner shares of my conviction. I have too many stories of God literally stepping into the day and completely overriding every known human theories. They are many, way too many. And I'll talk about a few. This is going to be a bit long but just bear with me if you care. - My elder bro was diagnosed with a liver condition when I was about 13. Before the diagnosis he was always sickly, grew up feeble, in and out of hospitals, he basically lived off drugs, herbal, modern, name it... of course you'd be dead on to guess the financial implications of that tasted bitter to my folks. Well when he was finally diagnosed with the liver condition, doctor told my parents they waited too late, my bro's liver was all swollen and he just couldn't possiby live for very long. True to his profession, he prescribed even more outrageously expensive drugs to just keep him comfortable. Well a few months after, my bro, who worships at Winners Chapel, (i go to Christ Embassy), decides he's going to get his healing or die, goes for Shiloh, and did not return with the condition. He is 33 now, it's been over 15 years. The doctor thought it was doubtlessly a miracle. Tell my bro there is no God and he will assure your own dad isn't real then. - I was 16, had a friend Victor, we all went to Christ Embassy, he was my cell leader and I think a year younger. A certain friday, we didn't have much people in our meeting, it was just 3 of us. Victor says we should pray and go out, see who we could talk to. There's this play-field close by, every evening youths go there to play or watch football. We decide to go out there and Victor, he was the bold one, always praying and all, he meets the group playing that Friday, speaks to a few of them. This one guy, let's call him Emma starts making jests of us while his friends laugh. I thought it was silly being there and wanted to just get out but not victor, he tells Emma he'd demonstrate something to him, he will touch him and if Emma doesn't fall then they can get back to playing and he'll never bother ever. Emma laughs, gets the attention of more of his boys, and they are still laughing and victor begins to speak in tongues, touches the guy on the head, and he sprawls on the floor, rolling on the ground. Victor repeats the same thing with three more and they were all on the floor. Now I've been laid hands on and I fell, but I'd never seen anything like that. The guys too, cos 22 of them followed us back to the cell meeting and we had a slam. Next Sunday, they were in church, stood before the altar and told the story themselves. - Now I dont want to talk about miracles that's happened to me, I'll talk about the ones I witnessed first hand. 2008 was my first time to see a cripple walk. It was a program with Pastor Chris, usually what happens is they don't allow people with health conditions go out and meet pastor on stage, however if on the course of ministrations you got healed, you told an usher and they got you on the testimony queue or so. I was new to church, my first ever program with pastor Chris. I was standing by a guy on a wheel chair, crippled I supposed by the way he looked. Then Pastor got praying for people on the wheel chair, said they attempt what they couldnt do before. This young man on a wheel chair next to me tried to edge forward, I guess to get closer to the front so Pastor could see him. Well ushers wouldn't let him, apparently if they allowed every one to go meet pastor, there sure will be a problem. So people around the guy turned their attention towards him and started to pray for him, just pray for him, he kept trying to push himself up off the wheel chair, you could see the determination on his face. I still remember it cos it was my first experience. The people kept praying for him, and he kept trying to push himself up and snap, he leapt up. And began to stagger up to the front, man I stood there crying, feeling goose pimples all over. I'd never forget that night. - Another one, just this Feb in Ghana, healing school. An elderly woman on clutches, the pastor ministering, name Eddie Owase, he gave everyone the same charge after preaching, he said ignore the pains and try to do what you could not before. Of course a few minutes later the entire hall erupts into frenzy, but I had my eyes on this woman, she got tired off waiting, went out front with her clutches, assisted by two young men. And when she got to the front of the church, she dropped the clutches, the two young men on each side supported her and as she walked she shouted I am walking, she kept shouting, everyone joined up too and chorused you are walking. If you were inside the hall you'd actually feel an electrifying presence, it was so strong as the church shouted with the woman.. and then she frees herself of the supporting men and starts walking unaided. Slowly at first, and after a few steps, took off. I did not watch these on TV. I was there. Another one... a dear Aunt. She had cancer, her husband is a politician, wealthy. she a business woman now a pastor. Totally healed and growing back her hairs now. I was there at the program she got healed. I actually took her myself. And a friend also, Segun, went out to invite a man who was bed ridden to the same program. He actually said to the man's son that if they went to the program and the man didn't get healed, they can take it that God isn't real. The man came home walking. We were in school fellowship but the man and his family actually came to the fellowship to testify. Of course they were many in the same programs who went back unhealed, and I can't honestly say why but it could all boil down to faith. I have seen and experienced so many miracles I can't simply write all of them. In my family, we have miracles all the time, financially, professionally, health-wise. Life threatening situations and diseases averted, you can't open up your mouth and tell any of my siblings there's no God. They will look at you like you lost something. This year, I have had so many testimonies I cry when I thank God about them. But do you know my strongest conviction of God? His voice. I hear Him, and He's become so real. Now imagine leaving your dad at home and on getting to work, a friend who's never had anything to do with him directly meets you and says, hey bro, your dad isn't real. He's a mere figment of your imagination. |
@op I can't exactly figure if the loopholes in your story are there for a reason or you simply were in too much haste to post it off and take question sessions (which is by the way another indication of the bogus nature of your story, and your desperation) that you didn't read through to fix them. And if any intelligent person here read it really and is capable of common understanding, they wouldn't call you an atheist, they'd say you're some dude who for some reasons he didn't quite make clear, is pissed off at God and decides to deny His existence. and for the atheists here screaming bravo.. Really? y'all read all that cap and threw your weight behind it? my advice to the Christians on NL, disregard this, and all smiliar posts by NL infant atheists. They joke too much. |
this hardmirror guy is really desperate. |
Bro, I ain't read much around here, but this is by far the best piece I've seen in here. Kudos. Following |
. Allow myself to be deceived as how? By now u suppose don know say I don't just talk for decoration. Do you think Trump was playing around when he said THE FIGHT IS JUST ABOUT TO START? He meant every word of it. Alternate Electors have been selected in those 4 Swing States, approved and chosen by the GOP led Legislature, which makes it 100% legal
