Calm down Alaye. Unless you dey connected you're worse off in Nigeria. Everybody wey japa has lived in Nigeria for decades before deciding to waka. |

APC takes no hostages. Some mumu people think say na Yoruba vs Igbo thing. When dem wake up, e go don too late |
olaolaking:OK. I'll bite. I'll give you a scripture. If you care to know, read. If you don't, don't. SPEAKING IN TONGUES DOES NOT MEAN SPEAKING A KNOWN HUMAN LANGUAGE. What happened in the book of Acts is not how you guys erroneously read it. The apostles spoke in unknown tongues, but God opened the understanding of the people who heard them and they could understand the apostles in their very own language. You can see proof of this from the bible verses below. This still happens today. You can ask questions or bring up objections and let's talk about them. 1 Corinthians 14:2 2) For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:23 23) So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 1 Corinthians 14:27-28 27) If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28) If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God. 1 Corinthians 14:6-17 6 Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction? 7 Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the pipe or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes? 8 Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? 9 So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air. 10 Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning. 11 If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and the speaker is a foreigner to me. 12 So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church. 13 For this reason the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that they may interpret what they say. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding. 16 Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? 17 You are giving thanks well enough, but no one else is edified. |
olaolaking:If you've ever read the bible, you'll know it is not quite so. |
gohf:Almost like you took my thoughts. Kindly read my comment. I'm glad there are enlightened people like you. |
Of course! Jesus didn't even care about people's religious affiliations. He preached kingdom, not church. And that is not to take away from local assembling of believers. The church is very important. But the kingdom of God is much bigger than a religion, or a building, or a sect, or any set of rules. The kingdom permeates all of these mostly human constructs. The church of Christ, the Lord's bride is far larger than the Christian family, or what we know as 'church'. Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc, we have millions and millions of individuals in these traditions who have come to accept Jesus as God's son, and every single one of them will be in heaven. Man, I have heard stories of individuals like this who are descipling hundreds of other people in the ways of Christ. God is not as shortsighted as we are, He is not fighting and leading segregations against religious groups that share different views. His focus is people, not groups, and He is reaching them personally everywhere. I see a lot of myopic Christian views about heaven but we'll all be shocked when we get there and find that God is not as limited as we think. I'll close with these words of the Lord in John 10:16; "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd." |
ADUBA1:There are two classes in Nigeria; the ruling rich class and the poor masses. The poor masses are tragically divided along ethnic and religious lines. The ruling rich class are united in purpose and exploits the dividing lines among the poor to perpetuate their empires. The poor don't know any better. When we realize that the fight should be between the rich ruling class and the poor, things will begin to change. Until then, no hope. Let the poor Igbo and Yoruba masses keep fighting themselves foolishly online and offline. In the upper class, Igbo and Yoruba are partners. |
Starzo:How I wan take answer this question now? |
mrvitalis:Yo. Shut the heck up. That nigga is a criminal. He didn't turn against Nigeria. He turned against Ndigo. He and Kanu are thieves and murderers who tricked well meaning individuals into giving them funds and used those funds to arm gangs of ekperimas like them, used these gangs to destabilise security outfits of every kind and class in the SE, then sent them to terrorise, rob, maim and kill innocent people, one of whom I know personally, thus enriching themselves and enthroning unchecked crime in the SE. THOSE ARE NOT FREEDOM FIGHTERS. Those are common criminals that took advantage of Ndigbo's frustrations at the marginalization of our zone. I am Igbo, I witnessed firsthand the fraud and crimes of these rogues. They killed a relative and took his car. Don't come here and paint Ekpa a saint. He will suffer for as long as he draws breath. Same as Kanu. Same fate awaits every other person like them. Everyday for the thief, one day for law. |
Omo. Used for 23k pounds. Chai. Naija. |
Judolisco:Alright. I'm glad you aren't supporting this calamity of a government then. However, most people in Europe don't do 2 to 3 jobs. Most people in Europe barely do one job. |
MichaelSokoto:APC will win Bro. That's the reason for the massive systematic suppression/elimination of opposition, the total occupation of vital and legal agencies and government arms. Electorally, there is absolutely no hope for Nigeria. If you're waiting for an election miracle, you are on a very long thing. What Nigeria is facing is not just political, but a bombardment from demonic high forces. Tinubu and APC are mere vessels. Their grand maester is none than the very demon in charge of the Nigerian space. The goal is total destruction. Salvation can only come from the church. And it has, however, it is only for those who recieve it. These are the last days. |
hakeemhakeem:Of course, that's what we heard for 8 years under Buhari. APC get another propaganda? Una go just dey talk like say everybody na mumu |
Judolisco:Abeg which Europe you do 2 to 3 jobs to pay your bills? These guys need castrating. Come online and spew rubbish anyhow just to support calamity |
LOL. He cleared IMF debt |
noobaland30:But una dey drink omo? You just wake up, na this stupidity dey your head. As in, you no fit use this Internet access look for something wey go benefit your life? How this question go improve you as a human being? Which kind waste of air some of una be these days sef? |
yinkeys:To compare the USA and Russia economically is an embarrassing comment. ledaman:I gave you one task: if you know anyone living in Russia, ask them for reality on ground. I can quote facts to you but I'm not even sure what you'll make of it. So, find someone with a first-hand experience and stop all this una overbeaten talk on media propaganda. Russia na King of media propaganda, Russian media is Putin's puppet. |
ledaman:Hi, abeg wetin go be your punishment if the two choices wey you predict for Zelensky no happen? Una no know wetin dey happen. If you get person for Russia, ask am how Russians are faring under the sanctions. Which yeye economy dey wax stronger day by day? When citizens dey use teeth grind pepper. You think say everything na paper growth? Basic commodities are a struggle in Russia currently, you dey here dey yarn dust |
fijiano202:NO, Russians aren't living large. |
I never listened to the man, but I can bet that Yall are blowing what he said way out of proportion. He couldn't have possibly, sanely meant Jesus hated the poor. I suspect he meant Jesus hated poverty and that would be on point. One of Jesus' main purposes was preaching to the poor. One of the cardinal evidences of God's goodness towards a man is wealth, material blessings. God prides in blessing his people abundantly, richly and completely. Some of you are just looking for unnecessary drama and clout-chasing over this issue. Make the man rest abeg. He's touched many more lives positively than those of you here forming small Jesus with no proof. Abeg. |
