What if its his family paying the fees? Does that automatically mean he stole the money? Do you know that most northern families pool funds together to jointly sponsor their children?

Do you know Farouk Ahmed's Family?
Dangote made a claim, Ahmed should feel free to provide proof showing Dangote’s claims are BS. Why are people coming up with hypotheticals on his behalf?

“What if his family is paying the fees?” How about this, what if Jesus regularly appears to him in his dreams and gives him bags containing $5MM during each visit?

This man is paying tuition that is multiples of what he makes in a year, and rather than ask questions, people are coming out of the woodwork to come up with excuses on his behalf! Why won’t this country fail? Its citizens are intellectually lazy
PoliticsRe: How Did Reno Omokri Become Tinubu's Friend? by Kalvan: 9:54pm On Dec 01, 2025
At the end of the day, it was nothing personal. Reno is like an actor in a play, playing his role. He was only playing his role as a member of the opposition.

Law 2 of the 48 laws of power:

Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies.
Be wary of friends—they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.

I have my criticisms when it comes to Tinubu’s leadership of a complex entity like Nigeria, but he’s a master strategist and politician

Why are people constantly moaning about the West lacking community? There’s community everywhere, but you always have to put in work. I remember hearing a quote that you can’t have community without inconvenience. Community means going to the events you don’t really feel like going to, helping the old mama that recently lost her husband change her oil and make sure her tires have tread, it’s calling people and having long convos when you don’t feel like it, it’s waking up early on Saturday mornings to help people move. I’ll caveat that I’m speaking from the pov of the US, it’s probably not as straightforward in Europe where less of our people are in white collar jobs, so have less extra energy, but the point still stands. There’s no part of the USA that doesn’t have a contingent of Nigerians or Africans, probably similar in Europe. Just need to get yourself out there.
PoliticsRe: BBC Picks Holes In Data Trump Relied On To Blacklist Nigeria by Kalvan: 12:56am On Nov 07, 2025
This quagmire has revealed how incompetent and corrupt a lot of the media is. They keep on combining the deaths as a result of Boko Haram with the deaths from the Fulani militia to obfuscate/ coverup the truth.

Most of the people killed by Boko Haram, are Muslims. Why wouldn’t they be? Boko Haram is and has always been concentrated in the North East which is majority Kanuri, Muslim.

Fulani militias are not Boko Haram, Boko Haram is a Salafi, Kanuri-dominated terror group. The Christians being murdered are being murdered by a completely different group!

Pikin wey dem born today don finish secondary school by 15 years, that's how precious time is... Don't gamble with your life cos you only get 1 slot.

University of Ibadan was not a full-fledged university until 1962.

Nigeria has built 300 universities in 65 years of Independence.

How many did the British build in their 80 year rule prior?

0?

1?

Take your pick. Oyibo worshipper.

Why didn't the whites you worship consider you worthy of higher education?

The same whites that want to come in now and ''save you'', ie STEAL from you AGAIN?

PoliticsRe: Trump Wants Nigeria's Resources - Afenifere by Kalvan: 6:01am On Nov 05, 2025
Kemetian:
Your forebears under colonialism were malnourished village illiterates.

The only reason YOU are not stuck on a village farm right now is that BLACK AFRICAN NIGERIANS seized power in 1960 and built thousands of schools and universities which educated your parents and YOU.

All the infrastructure around you.....point to ONE that was built by Britain or America, even from during colonial rule.

Point to the manufacturing and engineering industries the British built.

SHOW US!

The whites you worship built ZERO in Nigeria in their century-long colonial theft rampage.

Our FIRST power station was Kainji Dam, completed in 1964 by Balewa.

The British for a century of looting your resources built ZERO industries. ZERO universities. ZERO infrastructure.

That is why we are still having to build BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE 65 years after they left.

BECAUSE THEY BUILT NOTHING.

They just came to loot our natural resources - the very REASON for colonisation (something you people don't get).

Literacy rate after 80 years of British rule in 1960 was 5%.

Today it is 75% courtesy of indigenous NIGERIAN rule.

How DARE you claim we have achieved nothing?

THE ONLY REASON YOU CAN READ AND WRITE TODAY and are not a village palmwine tapper is because of BLACK NIGERIANS who came to power and built EVERYTHING you see around you today.

WITHOUT THOSE BLACK AFRICANS, you would be in the bush where the BRITISH left you.

Understood?

To now have the AUDACITY to say that the invaders who enslaved, rape.d and robbed your ancestors for centuries, leaving you with a BUSH in 1960, should RETURN, just shows how hopelessly ignorant you 'Nigerian' youths are.

Tragic.

That Nigeria is still a DEVELOPING country with poverty, underdevelopment, corruption etc does NOT mean the country is making no progress.

Or that you should foolishly invite the very people who destroyed and rape.d your society for centuries to RETURN and complete the job.
All bullshit.

Don't have time to debunk the rest of your bogus post, but at least google the University of Ibadan before you claim there were zero universities during colonial rule.

WizardOfNG:
The way some of you talk ignorant garbage with so much confidence is scary because it means you are either those viewed by psychologists as dangerous to themselves or sociopaths deliberately trying to fool others to get their way.

Lawless Trump, ignorant of the position of the law cannot initiate a military attack on other nations unless "the U.S. or its forces are under attack or facing an imminent threat".

You should explain to the forum how that applies in this case with the situation of Nigeria where it is crystal clear Nigeria is not a direct or indirect threat to the US Trump.

Whereas the reality is that it is Trump and his band of right wing Christendom-seeking gang who do not understand that having a strong opinion about an issue does not mean the US Congress will allow them attack a sovereign nation based on whims and caprices.

For sure you must be one of those 'projector' people whose emotional and sentimental make up leads them to ignore facts and reality in desperation to project their fantasies and desired outcomes as 💯 % achievable.
Didn't read any of your AI slop. Unlike your unintelligent self that needs to ask AI due to ignorance, I've literally studied the powers of the US government for years. I'll let you come to right conclusion deductively: did Trump didn't need congressional approval to kill Sulamani? Did he need congressional approval to bomb the Houthi rebels in Yemen? You're a dumbo. He's literally commander-in-chief ret@rd

[b]"Since 1973, most presidents have ignored parts or all of the War Powers Resolution. According to the Congressional Research Service, “presidents have taken a broader view of the Commander in Chief power to use military force abroad. They have variously asserted ‘sources of authority’ … [and] other statutes that do not specifically cite the WPR. Additionally, they have relied on the Commander in Chief power itself and the president's foreign affairs authority under Article II of the Constitution.”

Another Option: Authorizations for the Use of Military Force

However, Congress has passed Authorizations for the Use of Military Force (AUMFs) that give the president the ability to take limited, defined military acts. John Adams was the first president to receive an AUMF from Congress in 1798 during the Quasi-War with France.

Several AUMFs have remained in place from recent conflicts and presidents have cited them as supporting military actions abroad. The AUMF of 1991 gave the president the ability to act against Iraq to enforce United Nations resolutions. Similarly, the AUMF of 2002 stated, “[T]he president is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in order to defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq.”

In 2011, President Barack Obama ordered a military intervention in Libya without asking for congressional approval. Forces were engaged there for about eight months as the Obama administration argued that its military presence didn’t fall under the War Powers Resolution. In 2013, President Obama took the unusual step of asking Congress to approve intervention in the Syrian civil war, after he initially indicated he had the constitutional powers to order limited military strikes without its approval. Congress then deferred to act in Syria. At the time, the Obama administration argued that it didn’t need congressional authorization under the 2002 AUMF.

In 2017, President Trump ordered missile strikes against Syria after a chemical warfare attack, and supporters including Mitch McConnell felt it was permissible under the 2002 AUMF. The Trump administration argued that the attacks were allowed under the president’s Article II powers to protect the “national security and foreign policy interests of the United States.” Also in 2020, Trump cited the 2002 AUMF as supporting his decision to order a fatal drone strike against Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force.

In recent years, President Joseph Biden also cited the AUMF of 2002 and the same Article II powers asserted by the first Trump administration in taking military actions against Iran-backed militant groups in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and the Red Sea."

PoliticsRe: Trump Wants Nigeria's Resources - Afenifere by Kalvan: 4:42am On Nov 05, 2025
It's not about resources, if it was about resources, Congo should have been annexed by the US as a vassal state decades ago. There's no resource Nigeria has that the US either doesn't have a surplus of or can't get from other allies or trade partners.

Oil? The US is one of the largest oil producers.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_oil_extraction

Rare metals? China is the largest producer of course. But the US pulls its own weight and has made deals with its allies(Australia, Vietnam) for access.

This resource argument is so asinine and archaic. It's not the 19th century anymore boss.

Middle-belt christians are being murdered enmasse by a genocidal fulani militia, and people are butthurt they can't continue to stick their heads in the sand and pretend nothing is happening.

PoliticsRe: Trump's Genocide Allegations Shows The Failure Of US Intelligence - NOA by Kalvan: 2:21am On Nov 05, 2025
edetic:
Trump knows exactly what he is saying, there's a preponderance of materials and resources posted online that everyone can have access to exposing genocide against Christians in Nigeria, in addition, the former governor of Texas invited by Reno Omokri, Mike Arnold had earlier undertaken an extensive and comprehensive investigation into the killings, conducted over a period of ten years, travelling accross the length and breath of Nigeria, engaging people of all persuasions in interviews and making voice and video documentations, only those who have not seen the report will say there was intelligence failure somewhere, it's obvious, with Trump's fury, this material must have found it's way to him because Mike Arnold is a friend of Ted Cruz, the narrative the Nigerian government is peddling is that there's general insecurity problem and both Christians and Muslims are equally affected is either a cover up to play on the intelligence of everyone, or it's an intelligence failure. It is true Muslims are being killed by Boko Haram in the north, but the killing is not genocidal in nature, Boko Haram is not out to wipe out Islam in the north, but they are targeting Islamic clerics who do not agree with their agenda of creating an Islamic state in the north, and they will attack their mosques, it's not a blanket attack on all Muslims, and at the moment, Boko Haram is not even attacking Christians in the north because there are no Christians to attack, having reduced the population of Christians in their areas of control to a mere 2%. The current genocide against Christians in Nigeria is being perpetrated by the Fulani militia, and it's taking place in the middle belt, it's a systemic well planned agenda to completely wipe out Christianity in Nigeria, but the strategy is to take over the middle belt first, but those who want to confuse Nigerians and the world will not mention the Fulani herdsmen, they will point to what Boko Haram is doing, how they are killing Muslims as well, while every act of terrorism must be condemned, whether by Boko Haram or ISWAP, or Fulani jihadist, it is important to note that there is a Christian genocide going on Nigeria.
Amazing comment!

The irony of it all is that the NOA doesn't see that it's them that suffers from the intelligence failure. They keep on conflating the attacks by the Fulani militia with Boko Haram's, hence why their go-to response is that muslims are also being killed. They still don't realize that the Fulani militia conducting systematic killings in the middle-belt are not Boko Haram. It would probably blow their minds when they find out Boko Haram is mainly Kanuri not Fulani.

Predictable. Some of us have repeatedly told the self-hating Nigerians, particularly from one region, that the clap back will surely come from Trump's fellow US politicians over his reckless, highly irresponsible and lawless talk

I even cited several instances US judges have stood firm against Trump's lunacy yet the self-haters kept demanding US invasion of Nigeria as if we are an annexed colony of the US that Trump is Emperor over rather than an independent and sovereign nation.

US Congress will never indulge this lunacy of Trump because nothing like "weapons of mass destruction" excuse to use against us and Nigeria is not an "axis of evil" nation, directly threatening USA, Congress may be worried about enough to back military incursion into.

We will let kids and projector people keep dreaming and projecting. They don't understand that reality, not fantasy, is what matters most in life
You only need the approval of Congress to declare war. The presidential powers pretty much allow him to attack wherever he wants in the interest of US safety. He's not just president, he's commander-in-chief!

Scores of communities wiped out, and life continued like nothing happened?! Trump has given them his terms, either handle the issue or he will, no need for garrulous debate.
EducationRe: Are Nigerian Parents Spoiling Their Children? by Kalvan: 10:23pm On Oct 22, 2025
After punishing that child, did you pull them aside and talk to them about why you punished them? Sure, superficially they may understand why they were punished, but children see things differently from how adults do, and as their teacher, you’re to make them understand the effects of their actions on their development, and why and how it ties to the punishment you meted out.

You could have also skipped the punishment and just given them a zero on the homework, and asked to talk to their parent(s) or guardian. As a kid, there were many times I was downright brutalized by sadists posing as teachers, who were just itching for a reason to practice their sadomasochist fantasies.
