UNCLOTHING THE JOURNEY OF THE NEWS OF REJECTION AND DISASSOCIATION STORIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUV CARS GIFT DONATED BY RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT TO MEMBERS OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. UNTOLD SIDES THAT OUR REPRESENTATIVE PROMISE CHISOM DIKE, MEMBER REPRESENTATING TAI/ELEME/OYIGBO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE DIDN'T REVEALED.

Issues bothering on legislative competence and performances are not limited to making laws in a country practicing constitutional democracy like Nigeria but how the parliamentarian can be honest at all times to his/her constituents in the exercise of all duties.

Ordinarily, as my dear friend Hon
Chisom, Member representing my Federal constituency has dissociated himself from the news that he never instructed his media team to spread the news of his rejection of the SUV car gifts using several platforms and based his excusable medium on the deplorable state of roads in Oyigbo LGA,is untrue to the extent of its construction which had placed on us his constituents,the burden of when and how we can rely on the words of our elected representative,making some of his very educated media aides appear unreasonable in the eyes of the thinking public,when they are not, hence, the demand of this narrative become inevitable to make it public.

Now, unveiling the journey of what transpired at Rivers State government house, Port Harcourt.
Governor Wike extended the purchase of travelling tickets to all the members of Senate and House of Representatives from Abuja to Port Harcourt in View of handing over the SUV Cars gift to them, excluding Hon. Elphraim of Etche who recently moved to the broom vehicle.

My Representative, friend, Hon.Chisom was in the company of his colleagues that went to the House of His Excellency Ambassador Desmond Akawor, Rivers PDP State Chairman for briefings prior to the date of appearing in Government House for the gifts.

Hon.Chisom Promise Dike was overwhelmed when he got to government house gate with his colleagues but only him was refused access.The young legislator, most motivational Speaker on Facebook lately,just after the March 2020 PDP ward congresses was left in unbelievable shame at goverment house gate, a situation that he couldn't bear as former member of Rivers State house of Assembly and present member of House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria, while all his colleagues went into Rvers State Seat of Power. At this moment, my friend,Hon.Chisom Promise Dike called his media aides to post on all social utilities that he has rejected the Governor Wike's cars gift to all the Rivers State born members of National Assembly occasioned by the governor refusal to construct Oyigbo roads. Some persons immediately sent the screenshots to the Governor, thereafter Gov.Wike smartly and strategically permitted him to enter government house.

In the presence of Hon. Chisom colleagues, the Governor read a text message in parts, that Hon.Chisom sent to him, some time in March 2020 why 'A WHOLE' him was refused to produce his ward and LGA Executive Committees of the PDP in their last congresses as the highest elected office holder from Oyigbo LGA".We were reliably told that the Governor asked our Representative, how could someone who claimed to be a WHOLE loss the 2019 Presidential and Governorship elections in his polling unit and ward

.His Execellency continued that someone who couldn't deliver his unit is calling his person, WHOLE and was expecting to produce his ward Executive Committee. At that point Hon.Chisom colleagues started pleading on his behalf ,the Governor then gave him some conditions that he must go on air to deny what his media aides posted on social media that he rejected his car gift due to unmotorable Oyigbo roads and should instruct all those who made the posts to pull it down .However,he has diligently done all.

Hon.Chisom deliberately misinformed us of what happened in Government House which has no relationship to the bad roads presently in Oyigbo as he never demostrated any intention of rejecting the car until the moment he was put to shame in government house.

Our Representative was reminded that he won his house of representative election because no political party contested against him in the 2019 elections.Representative Chisom was told that if he decamp to an opposition political party,it cant still make him to produce any ward excos or win elections in his polling unit.

The Governor re-emphasied that he is a practical politician with preparedness to give some Abuja and Rivers PDP politicians who couldnt deliver elections galantly ,severe political hypertension.

It was expected of Hon.Chisom Promise Dike to be more honourable by rendering unreserved apologies to his media aides and Constituents for not relating the facts in issue during his REBUTTAL to us as our employee. Please send attached comment from former Caretaker Chairman of Oyigbo and Major Stakeholder of PDP Hon.Chisom Kenneth Gbali in corroboration to this truth.

Hon.Chisom Promise Dike there was no time any opposition political party member or those you perceived to be in adversed interests with you in your party,spread the news of your car rejection,it was designed and duly rebutted by you.Your constituents are very intelligent people,so state the truth to us in the drama that happened in Government House in the spreadsheet of your subsequent REBUTTAL.

RIVERS STATE APC...

COMMUNIQUE

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State met today, Wednesday 19 August, 2020, at the State Party Secretariat at 63 Aba Road, Port Harcourt. After serious deliberations, the party resolved among other things to:

1. Pass a vote of confidence on the State Caretaker Committee led by Barrister Isaac Ogbobula for its undying effort to unite the membership of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State. Party leaders also expressed satisfaction with the Committee's victory at the Court of Appeal which resulted in a stay of execution of the order of a Port Harcourt High Court presided over by Justice George Omereji.

2. The Party Leaders at the meeting reaffirmed their abiding faith in ongoing talks that are designed to reconcile all disagreeing individuals in our midst and restore sustainable peace and progress within our rank and file. It further encouraged those who are championing the process not to relent in their attempt to restore unity.

3. The APC congratulated the Minister of Transportation and Leader of the Party in the State, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi for offering strong and effective leadership. And acknowledged his resolve, through the NPA, to decentralize port operations in the country, to include ports within the South South geopolitical region. We are gladdened by the fact that the biggest container ship ever to enter Nigerian waters berthed last Saturday at Onne Port. This development would help to boost our economy as a nation;

4. The APC thanked the Statutory members of the party for intervening to halt the drift within the party. It acknowledged the effort of the Hon. Sokonte Davies led Exco to resuscitate activities within the party
