U knw we shld really try to understand somethings before we jump into them.
I talked about cheques and someone said he/she wasn't carried along then i came down to step 1 in banking and tried my best to explain it. Obassey wat u said ws right but concluding i ws showing off wasn't fair.we are all here to help each other.
Probably at d TS they wld expect us to understand very fast because they believe they selected d best. Am a banking and Finance student and i thought it wise to share my little knowledge but thou it ws misunderstood but i hope u people knw dat in as much as we wish to all be called, am nt even sure i will be there, that not withstanding i just wanted to enlighten the house and it ws misunderstood. But i think its best if we obey obassey's decision and nt show of. Always Love u all

I think this is d beginning of banking because it all starts wen one comes to d bank to establish one of these relationships. D computer aspect of it would be thought properly at d TS cos its not advisable to teach computer theoretically without practicals.

her d customer(pledgor)pledges with his goods or document that he would payback loan.the bank (pledgee) gives bak the goods and documents intact after the customer pays d money

D bailee bailor started n d time of d goldsmith wen a customer brings his / her treasures like gold, certificate etc in our modern world. D customer becomes d bailor while d bank is d bailee.
D bank keeps and preserves d customers treasures.
Principal /agent d bank acts as d customers agent whom d customer tells to pay his /her insurance premium or buy shares etc d customer is d principal

Furthermore d bank provides other services apart from the debtor/creditor relationship which we know collection money and payment money. I will share it bit by bit d little i knw. We have 1 bailor/bailee relationship,2 advisor/advisee relationship 3. Mortgagor/ mortgagee relationship. 4 we have d grantee/grantor relationship etc. I will share them one by one cos we might be assigned to one of these

About clearing cheques
we have d clearing officer who goes to d cbn to clear d cheques of a particular bank.
He is called d clearing officer. In Nigeria a particular date is separated for clearing cheques at d cbn (remember cheques above 150000 or so are not cashed across d counter.)all other clearing officers from other banks come together and cheques are exchanged eg macayo with uba cheque pays kamnelly 200000. Kamnelly pays it into her account at heritage bank. Didi with heritage cheque pays Julie 300000 and she lodges it into her account at Uba.on dat day d clearing officer from UBA will exchange d cheque with d officer for heritage bank and then uba will be owing heritage bank 100000 and this will be noted for next clearing date. Hope this will be an idea

this guy has Been making terrible comments on this forum and the guys in porthacourt would stand as a witness on hw the HB guy commented bitterly on macayo's comments, the bad thing there ws that someone cautioned him and he insulted dat person.then i ws observing this thread, yesterday he made another one and yet wen people cautioned him he didn't listen so i decided to step in and talk to him in a language he would understand and i guess he did.
Now he has apologized and all is okayyyyy now. But lets always remember that there is a HB official monitoring our comments. I keep saying dat
