PoliticsBreaking: Akpabio Ordered To Vacate Seat For Oshiomole by kane4kane(op): 5:36am On Mar 30, 2019
A mild drama occurred yesterday as Sen. Godswill Akpabio was asked to vacate his seat for Adams Oshiomole, the All Progressive Congress National Chairman during the Tinubu’s Colloquium held in Abuja.

The event was the just concluded 11th colloquium, commemorating the 67th birthday anniversary of National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Drama occurred when Adams Oshiomole walked into the event with caucus members of the All Progressive Congress while the event was ongoing and one of the organisers walked to AKPABIO and whispered few words into his ear, AKPABIO though wearing countenance of discomfort rose from his seat, and was stranded without a seat for few minutes causing other personalities to mumur at the treatment meted on the hitherto respected AKPABIO.

The development, as colloborated by Guardian Newspaper reports stirred side talks and brief unease around the hall as personalities who sat close to the scene mumur “uncommon dethronement”, expressing shock that AKPABIO who until his defeat at the recently concluded National Assembly polls wielded tremendous influence in National politics and was highly esteemed and respected by even Political figures greater than Adams Oshiomole, could be asked to get up from his seat for Oshiomole.

The colloquium tagged, “Work For The People”, mainly featured celebration of the recent presidential poll in which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returned Buhari as winner.

The more the population the more problems that's why I just smile when people compare electricity generation in Nigeria to Ghana. But still not an excuse not to get it right though Ghana is like Lagos population if Lagos gets its act together it can provide stable electricity but I can't boldly say the same for 200million population.
what is the population of China, please?

Did anyone force Nigeria to be large? If the country is too large to work, why not break it into smaller nations?

I wonder why people are making case out of this even with the break down showing the periodic registration. Or we think those people behave like us who only come online to make noise, but disappear when it is time to go to the field?
Dude, the rate of underage voting in the north is alarming..

The rate of non citizens registering and voting is alarming. I was a corps member during the last election and I sabi wetin most of these states did as election, na wash.

This is why i dislike this country. There is no way Nigeria can be a developed country even in the next 50 years. If u think im joking, archive this comment.

Nigeria will continue to struggle for ever. Why? We play politics for wrong reasons. Yes, no region has developed in Nigeria but there is something more alarming about northern Nigeria that we need to check. They have produced more leaders, have more states, get more money into the region, yet the region is last in almost everything:

from poverty, to poor education, to diseases, to death, insecurity, etc. What does that tell u? It means the rest of the country will continue to be at the mercy of that region for ever and continue to drag backward.

If only southern Nigeria can pull resources together and pull out from north, even the north will enjoy such dramatic pulling out.

This is a sincere comment. Sadly, politicians no send as long as the paycheck keep coming.
