In a letter personally signed by the Industrialist, Engr. "It is impossible not to observe too", he continued that, "the mammoth crowd meant that our people made huge personal sacrifices, abandoning their wares, businesses and several other engagements, travelling kilometers to join YPP candidates as they pledge to restore the dignity of man in Abia State".

The Unassuming Humanist, recounted that his foray into politics is premeditated, planned and deliberate with a clear cut objective to make life better, enviable and worthy for all Abians. Nana disclosed that, "by the Grace of God, the government YPP proposes will inspire a fast track of tangible and intangible sectors of the Abia economy.

"It is easy for me to read through the minds of people who gathered at Ngwa High School. I am delighted that within a short period, many have agreed that the Abia of our dream is realisable. I will urge us not to be weary as politics played with humanity in mind can never be counterproductive", Nana assured.

The YPP candidate thanked the National Chairman of the Young Progressives Party, Comrade Bishop Makiri and members of the National Working Committee (NWC), "for living the dream". Nana described YPP Candidates and their supporters as symbols of "the new deal, where the only thing that qualifies one to benefit from quality governance is being Abian, living in Abia or visiting Abia".

Engr. Nwafor thanked, "our dear foremost entertainers Emelogu Murako Fortune ( Ruffcoin Nwa Aba), Paschal Chibuike Ukechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest) and Zuby Michael for sensitising the youths on the need to have their Permanent Voters Card (PVC)". He also paid special tributes to the Abia entertainment community for their enormous goodwill.

The YPP candidate lastly, urged his supporters to "eschew violence at all times, shun the temptation of denigrating the personalities of other Candidates or their parties while also ensuring that all engagements and conversations are issue - based", as according to the Engineer, "any political engagement that undermines peace does not make sense".

PoliticsAbsu In An Academic Mess. by Kani101(op): 11:09am On May 10, 2022
The Nigeria University Commission has punished ABSU, for admitting more than one hundred and twenty medical students in each session for three years, and this disobedience was championed by the then Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Uche Ikonne. And now, the Medical College of the Abia State University has lost its accreditation, and this means the school, henceforth, will not admit medical students, as the punishment lasts. This is, in fact, a huge embarrassment to the State, and a slap to the face of the governor, whose administration is chequered, and characterized with failures and bad governance.

Still, Governor Okezie has the effrontery to anoint same man, whose greed has brought shame to the University, and to the State at large.

Wait a minute! I had received intelligence that the NUC panel would re-visit the school. This time, the Commission will mete out another punishment, which will be directed to the Faculty of Law, and could result to the Faculty lossing its accreditation as well. If the Faculty losses its accreditation, then law students may not be admitted for some time.

Is this not devastating and embarrassing? Of course, birds of same feather will always flock together. Little wonder Governor Okezie has chosen him as his candidate. But, this time, Abians will fight to the finish. The destinies of Abians can't be jeopardized by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, who has lavished Abians' money on frivolities. Let Abians fasten their seatbelts.

*PRINCE ALEX MBATA... CELEBRATING ALTRUISTIC LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE!*

The times are hard no doubt.

We are living in difficult and perilous times but we must not lose our sense of appreciation and gratitude.

With too much hate, unhappiness and unease in the air, it may as well be a soothing balm to talk about a practical lover of humanity and consensus builder.

The chameleon said that it cannot because of the burning bush stop walking majestically in the way and manner of its forebears. That is a literal English language translation of an Igbo proverb with deep meaning!

Today, we celebrate a good spirited man of excellence - Prince Alex Mbata.

He is highly cerebral, cosmopolitan, has deep pocket yet disarmingly unassuming.

Successful people do not wear unnecessary air of importance. Their confidence and simplicity truly speak for them.

Prince Alex Mbata, native of Ngwoma in Owerri North LGA of Imo State, is a rare breed phenomenal leader and developmental politician.

He is not your kind of "apex leader" or other appellation hungry politician, yet he is a true leader of leaders by doings!

YES, he is an undisputed apex leader of leaders by SELFLESS DOINGS!

He is not your kind of noisy emergency philanthropist billboard charity organisation promoter or one of those who do saraka for the sake of politics.

He does not give for the cameras or for camera effects.

He is spiritually motivated knowing that Blessed is the Hand that Giveth.

The handsome, debonair and soft spoken Prince gives and gives and gives and will continue to give to humanity.

Prince Alex Mbata, more popularly known as ABM in the Corporate world, is not a stranger to kind gestures and life changing humanitarian courses.

He is an elite with deep empathy and pro-poor sympathy, a profound promoter of justice, not an oppressor and does not play oppressive politics.

He loves people and people love him in return.

By verifiable chains of agelong acts of public good and humanitarian deeds, across the State and beyond, he has shown that *"uba ABM abughi uba nmegbu".*

Prince Alex Mbata nwere obi madu, owu nwoke obi sari sari. Ona enyere umu ogbenye na ndi odi namkpa aka.

Call him okpata enye oha na eze, if you like.

Recently, he constructed a 2km road with drainage and street lights in Owerri Capital territory to alleviate the infrastructural needs of our people.

But for the inevitable media blitz around this statesmanly act, following the commissioning of that road by the Governor of Imo State, many would not have known about it.

Truth is that this human capital development guru, maverick employer of labour and empowerment monster had silently done more than that (whether in road construction, scholarship awards, building for indigent people or giving palliatives) in the past deploying private resources.

His excellent record of duty tour as erstwhile Chairman of the Governing Council of Imo State University, Owerri bear eloquent testimony to his pragmatic altruism.

That is what it should be from our other wealthy people who should look inwards and emulate ABM and begin to help to develop our motherland.

Biko, inye jide change kirikiri, ya me ka ABM na ala Igbo.

Prince Alex has done noble, although that is his usual trademark.

Prince ABM, jide nke iji.

GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND ENLARGE YOUR COAST!

EventsWhen Two Professional Love Birds Tie The Knot , As Dr. Adaobi Weds Dr. Udochukwu by Kani101(op): 3:02pm On May 01, 2021
Njoku Macdonald Obinna

Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Exquisite, classy and luxury ; three simple but powerful words that best described last Saturday's top-notch wedding ceremony between two medical doctors; Dr. Mononye Adaobi and her charming , well composed, and gentleman heartrob, Dr. Ihenetu Udochukwu , with a hashtag #AdaobiUdochukwu2021 . The solemnization of the Holy Matrimony which took place at the St. Francis Catholic Church , Rumuokwuta , Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was officiated by Rev. Fr. Adiele Aloysius , Rev. Fr. Benard Chizoba Duru, Rev. Fr. Ndukwu Ernest Stephen and Rev. Fr. Christopher Ihenetu from Orlu Diocese , Imo State .

The beautiful love story of a reserved and ever busy medical doctor who fell hell over in love with his distant friend turned lover in a related medical profession , is better witnessed than told like a fairly tale! If you were not present at the wedding reception , then, you missed the real groove !

A typical Rivers State function which had in attendance, the bigwigs in the oil and gas sector , top brass in government, captains of industry , colleagues- medical doctors from the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), a number of Imo politicians, relations from home and abroad, and the enlarged members of the Ihenetu Dynasty in Umuduruoha village , AmaIgbo Autonomous Community, Nwangele LGA, Imo State; where the groom hailed from and the bride's family of Umuoji -Umukegwu in Akaokwa Autonomous Community , Ideato North, Imo State, as they converged on the lush Church premises to witness their children's wedding ceremony which marked the beginning of a new era; a new home and marital life as a couple.

While neither movie nor music moves me, I was greatly moved by that classical and sensational love song by Lionel Richie's ' STUCK ON YOU ' ; which ushered in the bride and groom on the dancing stage before the cheering admiration of their invited guests.

Taking a deep breath in that seductive ambience as I listened rather with captured attention to the lyrics of that soul -captivating winning love song of all seasons , I was able to deduce the lines and rhymes of the song :

`` Stuck on you
I' ve got this feeling down
Deep in my soul
That I can't lose
Guess, I'm on my way.
Needed a friend
And the way I feel now I guess
I'll be with you till the end
Guess I'm on my way
Mighty glad you stayed.``

`` I'm stuck you
Being a fool too long I guess
It's time for me to come home
Guess I'm on my way
So hard to see that a woman like you
Could wait around for a man like me
Guess I'm on my way
Mighty glad you stayed...``

A beautiful love song which many smart young men had used in the time past to steal the hearts of their spouses. But in Udochukwu, it seems quite different as the medical doctor with a cordon blue job rather used his gentle manly disposition , charming and endearing soft speaking character to win over the heart of his spouse, Mononye Adaobi ; a trained Optometrist. A quintessential lady of great demeanor; an aura of goodness , sociable , affable , amiable and considerate , although with a strong character like Angela Merkel of Germany.

The groom, Dr. Ihenetu Udochukwu , was raised up by disciplinarians (parents ) who didn't just teach their children good morals imbeded in love and respect , but also taught them societal values and the way of the Lord. Little wonder , one of his elder brothers , Rev. Fr. Kelechi Christopher Cuba Ihenetu , is an ordained priest by the order of Melchizedek according to the Catholic faith.

Very sound, calm, calculative, reserved , handsome and soft -speaking, Ihenetu Udochukwu ; a former Senior Financial Analyst |Special Adviser at ChiBert & Toyas , studied at the University of Ghana before he proceeded to Kharkov National Medical School at the University of Ukarine where he studied General Medicine.

On that special day of their wedding , Saturday , April 24, 2021, the bride officially became a member of the groom's family , Ihenetu Dynasty in Amalgbo , Nwangele LGA, Imo State; as representatives from the bride's and groom's families exchanged promises and gifts. The occasion was celebrated in pop and pageantry with refreshments , music and dancing as the bridal train of Dr. Mononye Adaobi -Ihenetu excitedly danced with the bride while showcasing their musical stage crafts as DJ Rex held the guests hostage with a series of mind-blowing foreign love songs ; Breathless, Treasure I seek, Endless love and a selection of trending 9ja music.

From silky and smooth to big and bold , the media lens of 4thestatereporters.com spotted out highly priced and expensive wines served to the guests during the wedding reception which defined the taste, class, style , public image, family idiosyncrasies and leadership mien of the three wise men behind the mask; Nze Richard Uchenna , His Royal Majesty , Eze (Amb.) Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu (Eze Igbo in Ghana) and Rev. Fr. Kelechi Christopher Cuba Ihenetu.

Speaking to this reporter, Nze Ihenetu Richard Uchenna (Orji Wuru Ogbede 2 of Umuduruoha - AmaIgbo) ; eldest brother of the groom who represented their late father said: `` Dr. Udochukwu Calistus Ihenetu is my beloved son in whom I am is well pleased.`` While releasing his blessings on the couple , he strongly preached for understanding , mutual love and respect between the young couple. He however, prayed God to bless the new marriage with the fruits of the womb as well as divine promotion at their workplace and success in all their endeavours.``

To His Royal Majesty , Eze (Dr.) Chukwudi Ihenetu: `` Dr. Udochukwu Ihenetu is an intelligent and well composed kid brother anyone could be proud of and also wish for as he came from a humble background that places family values above other considerations .``

The respected Igbo King (Eze) in Ghana and true Nigerian Patriot , Eze Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu, who radiates royalty , class and sterling leadership; while speaking to the Publisher of 4thestatereporters , Njoku Macdonald Obinna, went back memory lane to recall how the family started from the scratch until God set them high on the pinnacle of their destinies which is part of what the world is celebrating today .

The monarch, HRM Eze (Dr.) Chukwudi Ihenetu (Eze Igbo in Ghana) in his usual heart of magnanimity , released his royal blessings on the couple; Dr. Adaobi Monoye -Ihenetu and Dr. Udochukwu Ihenetu as he prayed God to bless the new marriage beyond measures while trusting that his younger brother would make a good father and husband as caring runs in the family's DNA.

The bride's father , Barr. Okey Mononye didn't hide his joy as he thanked God for the grace of raising a responsible daughter and trained Optomeitrist in the medical profession whom the family had given out her hands in marriage to a responsible young medical doctor.

The well attended watershed event had in the roll call members of the couple's families ; including the following dginatries but not limited to ;

Lolo Eugenia Ihenetu... Groom's mother
Nze Richard Uchenna Ihenetu (Orji wuru Ogbede 2, of Umuduruoha Amaigbo)...Groom's eldest brother who represented their late father, Lolo Emmanuella Ngozi Akunasa (groom's eldest sister), HRM, Eze , Dr, Amb, Chukwudi J. Ihenetu and Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu...King and Queen of Igbos in Ghana, Rev. Fr. Kelechi C. Cuba Ihenetu, Sir/Barr. & Lady Okey Munonye; bride's parents , Sir/Dr and Lady Sam Onuebunwa, Dr. (Mrs) Njideka Bede Anusionwu, Chief Rev. Abrakassa Fente Thomas, (SEA LION), Hon. Dr. Johnbosco Nkpadobi (Nwangele PDP leader), Dr.Nnakenyi Linus, Engr. Bonny Nwagbara, Mr & Mrs Nkayimuo, Chief Kalu, Isi Buo Mba 1 of Ohafia,Chief Jude Anele, Ezi enyi 1 of Abba, amongst others .

All who attended the wedding ceremony had more than enough to eat and drink as DJ Rex kept playing enthralling background soft tunes until the occasion came to a close .
