PoliticsAbia Speaker: RT. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, A Man With A Golden Heart. by Kani101(op): 10:24pm On Sep 18, 2022
Few weeks ago, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji worshipped at Power World Ministries Umuahia. The Speaker joined in celebrating with the family of Hon Humphrey Benson, Chairman of Umuahia South LGA, who dedicated his infant, little Master David Ejimgietochukwu Humphrey Benson at the church.

The Speaker was impressed by the voice and the spirit-filled rendition of one of the lead singers in the church, Master Akachi, the Speaker beckoned on him and asked him what he does, the young man responded by saying that he is a 3rd year student of Ebonyi State University. At that point, the Speaker promised to take care of the rest of his studies including his clearance at the University. To this effect, he announced a cheque with a very impressive sum that sent the entire church rocking to its foundations saying he was going to hand same to the Pastor for the young man's use. Intuitively, the young man broke down in tears and went down on his knees in appreciation to God.

In addition, the Speaker said he was willing to sponsor the lead singer on training to further enhance his voice for greater use in ministry. He requested the Pastor to make the arrangements and revert to him for immediate commencement of action.

Few weeks ago, the Senior Pastor of Power World Ministries, Umuahia, Rev Dr Uche Ume presented a cheque of a huge sum to Master Akachi, donated to him for all his academic and personal expenses for the remaining years of his university education by the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.

But this wonderful gesture from the Speaker to Master Akachi has attracted several negative reactions from different quarters, some saying the Speaker was merely trying to score a political goal because of the 2023 general elections, how funny.

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji popularly known as Ikukuoma Abia is a politician with distinction, effectiveness, integrity (associated with honesty, being true to principles, keeping promises) and competence (associated with skill, productiveness, getting things done), he has overtime proved that his aim and objective in politics is clearly to lift lives and push people to greatness.

In a bid to correct this misconceptions from few persons, i will be highlighting some of the huge humanitarian interventions offered by the Speaker prior to his gesture to Master Akachi.

1. On the 18th of April, 2021, the Speaker attended the Child Dedication & Thanksgiving Service of little Miss Princess Chikaima Ihedioha, daughter of Prince & Mrs Emeka Ihedioha of Ohuhu community in Umuahia North Local Government Area.

While delivering his speech in the church, the Speaker called out one of the worshippers, Mrs Enyiocha Grace Ifeoma, a pregnant woman who was the lead singer of the church's band, the Speaker said he watched keenly with amazement how Mrs Enyiocha, even though heavily pregnant and with another baby, was singing melodiously and with her whole being to the glory of God.

Moved by her dedication to service despite her condition, the Speaker asked her what she was doing for a living to which she announced that she was an applicant having studied Accounting and served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The church went into wild jubilation when the Speaker there and then announced the offer of a job to her and requested Prince Emeka Ihedioha to proceed later to his office with her documents for processing.

The Speaker has long fulfilled his promise and Mrs Enyiocha Grace Ifeoma is now a staff of Abia State House of Assembly.

2. On 27th of September 2021, the Speaker paid a condolence visit to the family of Mr & Mrs Chibuzor Ikwunze, a native of Umuagu Umuohu Ohuhu in Umuahia North Local Government Area who lost their four children on the same night after a meal of barbecued meat popularly known as Suya.

The Speaker who was very emotional during the visit told the Ikwunzes that the incident was a very sad and unfortunate one but which is a burden no one deserves to bear.

He said he heard about the tragic incident while away on the annual recess of the Abia State House of Assembly but vowed to come on the visit to commiserate with the family once he resumed.

With teary eyes, the Speaker told the bereaved couple to hold steadfastly to God who alone can adequately console them at this most difficult times.

"Don't be too hard on yourselves by asking too many questions of what might have been or not because God knows the best; don't lose hope. I know it is not going to be easy but resolve to rebuild your family again, don't dwell too much in thoughts but let God be your Rock", the Speaker admonished.

Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji promised to relocate the couple to a better apartment, set up a new workshop for the man who is a refrigerator technician, and get a new shop in town for the woman who is a hair dresser. All these would be paid for for four years in advance.

This is in addition to the gift of a car the Speaker promised Mr Ikwunze to assist him in making extra income.

"I am directed by my conscience to help you make a meaning out of life from another dimension. Just try and be happy again even though it's not going to be easy, but I'm sure God will guide, protect, console and strengthen you and give you the fortitude to bear this painful loss", the Speaker concluded.

On 14th November, 2021, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji worshipped at Goodnews Pentecostal Church, Awolowo Street Extention, Umuahia.

The Speaker attended Service in the church to fulfill the promises he made to Mr & Mrs Chibuzor Ikwunze the day he paid them a condolence visit in their home.

Recall, that the four children of the couple died mysteriously few months ago after eating barbecue meat popularly known as 'Suya'.

Speaking to the congregation, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji thanked God for sparing the lives of the couple thus far because what happened to them was a devaststing tragedy. He advised the couple to take solace in God, do their best to forget the old ugly experience and move on because only God knows it all.

"From today, you will stop crying; look ahead for more prosperity; I will help you back on your feet and have a meaningful life", the Speaker said.

Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji also said that in fulfillment of his promise, he brought a car gift for Mr Chibuzor Ikwunze to help him make extra income.

He then gave Mr Ikwunze an automatic employment to work directly under Mr Uzochukwu Nwabufor, the Speaker's Special Assistant on Ikukuoma' s Free Water Scheme.

The Speaker equally presented a cheque for the accommodation rent of the couple and for the procurement of a shop outlet for Mrs Ikwunze.

Note: I sincerely apologise to the bereaved family for adding this story here, i clearly understand this might reignite and trigger painful feelings.

3. Few weeks ago, the Speaker also intervened to save two surviving members of family that lost four in a fatal accident.

The Speaker requested the medical team of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, to work assiduously and ensure that the two surviving children of Late Mr & Mrs Kelvin Uzuegwu were revived and given adequate medical attention.

The Speaker who sent funds to FMC for the revival and treatment of the survivors expressed shock over the sad incident condoled with the bereaved relations and their friends and said although he never knew the victims in person but he had to respond quickly when he was told about the incident by a concerned Abia.

4. On 3rd December, 2021, the Speaker attended the reception that followed the funeral service of Late Hon Chief Mrs Olileanya Edith Nwoha (JP), a former State Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, at Community Primary School, Umuawa Alaocha, Umuahia North Local Government Area.

Rendering his condolence message, the promised to take care of the school fees of one of the daughters of Late Chief Mrs Olileanya Nwoha, Miss Chinwekele Emmanuel Nwoha who is a 200 level Law student of Ebonyi State University.

The Speaker said the educational support for Miss Chinwekele will run till she graduates.

There are many other humanitarian interventions from the Speaker, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji which are way too numerous to capture here; Ikukuoma is a politician with milk of human kindness and one that will not combine his humane and compassionate deeds with politics.

PoliticsAbia:dodoh Okafor Writes About Abia Governor. by Kani101(op): 10:32pm On Aug 16, 2022
For the purpose of emphasis:

1. Okezie Ikpeazu is FULLY FUNDING two governorship candidates for the 2023 election. Mr. Ikpeazu who understands the game of smoke and mirrors better than most know that the man he is fronting publicly, Mr. Uche Ikonne is standing on quicksand. The court can sack him at any moment and bedsides, the professor whose age is a subject of intense contention is not popular...

2. Some say Ikonne is 75. Many say he is in his late 60s. But from what I see, the former ABSU VC looks frail and many are certain that whatever official age he is flaunting is not his real age. Civil servants in Nigeria lie a lot about their age.

3. Beyond the disputation about his age and fitness for the job, Mr. Ikonne has had a very woeful record in all previous offices. Many in ABSU where he last served as VC consider him a common thief. He is accused of stealing everything in sight as he was leaving Uturu including the television sets in his office and remainder of building materials from a construction project.

4. Mr. Ikonne is also believed to be the least popular VC in the history of ABSU. He made life hell on earth for students. He raised all the fees in the school that hundreds of students had to drop over failure to meet the extortionate fees introduced by Ikonne. Many of them became thieves and prostitutes.

5. Ikonne, like Ikpeazu, is also a man driven by clannish considerations. Majority of those he recruited as staff or gave contracts were his clansmen. Only people from his part of the state were worthy of employment and big contracts. He shut out qualified people from other parts of the state.

6. Ikonne is also believed to have run about the most corrupt and criminal administration in the history of ABSU. His son were either getting TETFUND scholarships or in charge of lucrative University deals.

7. So Ikpeazu understands that Ikonne would be a hard sell. It is either he us pushed away by the courts or he would perform woefully if he makes it to the ballot. So what did he do? He drafted another candidate to the race. If Ikonne fails, then candidate B must be it.

8. Mr. Ikpeazu is driven by clannish motives. He is adamant that the next governor must be a kinsman. He wants nothing else. Another idiotic leader like him from his clan is better than a stellar successor from elsewhere. It is a game and he idetermined to play it to the fullest.

9. The incompetent tragedy of a governor has positioned his men across party lines. Some are with Ikonne in PDP while the others have moved. There are also others who are watching and advising from the sides. But the same philosophy that drives Ikpeazu is propelling them: the next governor must be someone we can whisper to in dialect a "foreigner" cannot understand.

10. It is about state capture. Other people can die. It does not matter if a thousand civil servants or pensioners die in pursuit of this evil motive. Funds have been allocated and every revenue to the state is committed to this plot. Ask any civil servant or pensioner when last they were paid. Still allocation come in every month and taxes are still being collected.

11. We must open our eyes to see what is coming. But then as I said, the people can remain blind. If another idiot gets elected governor in Abia in 2023, then it would become very foolish on my part to keep wasting my time. I can never be a victim no matter which animal is elected.

12. I earlier spoke about the man who is still owing workers in a private establishment he runs but is working night and day to be governor in 2023. This man treats his workers as slaves and uses some as sex slaves. He is also gathering support while those who ought to enlighten the voters watch in conspiratorial silence.

13. What is my message: the choice to either elect an independent candidate or another idiot is in our hands. Nobody must blame the Hausa-Fulanis or the structure of Nigeria or Lord Lugard for our self made woes after 2023.

14. May peace reign.

PoliticsRt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya, most Efficient Speaker In The Federation. by Kani101(op): 8:09pm On Aug 15, 2022
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE and his colleagues at the 7th Abia State House of Assembly have no doubt performed so excellently well that they receive accolades not only from right thinking Abians and neutrals but also from both the Presidency and the National Assembly for their dexterity in the prompt and exceptional discharge of their duties.

While Nigerians have persistently ckamoured for 'Restructuring' as a panacea to the myriad of challenges besetting the nation, the National Assembly finally heeded the call to amend several areas of the Constitution that will enhance the sociopolitical and economic fortunes of the country by embarking on the amendment exercise after which it sent the work to the 36 state Houses of Assembly for their consideration and concurrence.

Knowing how important this is to Nigerians and the huge benefits that will accrue to Abians in particular and Nigerians in general from it, the Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji-led House of Assembly promptly worked assiduously on the Bill sent by the National Assembly in March this year over an extended period of time and passed same by giving its concurrence on June thus becoming the first House of Assembly to have completed work on the 44 items in the 5th Alteration of the Constitution. Seven other States have also eventually concluded theirs. They are Kogi, Ogun, Edo, Katsina, Lagos, Imo and Ondo. The National Assembly has lamented that Unless something drastic happens, they are set to miss the October deadline since two-third of the Stste Houses of Assembly is required to give their concurrence before they can conclude and pass the Amendments to the Presudent for his assent. 37. H.A.B. 56: The Abia State Food Banks Bill 2022

There are several other Bills and Motions of great impact on the people by the 7th Abia State House of Assembly that we will publish in the next part of this publication.

For example, in the heat of the then seemingly intractable border crisis between the people of Arochkwu LGA and their neighbours from Biase and Odukpani LGAs in Cross River State which always left several dead, the Abia State House of Assembly on the 16th of March, 2020, dispatched a high powered delegation led by the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu to meet with relevant government functionaries including members of the Cross River State House of Assembly with a view to finding a lasting solution to the crisis.

The journey saw the delegation also meeting with the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ijemot Evara Esu who also doubled as the chairman of the State's Peace and Conflict Resolution body.

A strongly worded communique appealing to the warring communities was issued St the end of the meeting with other practical steps taken to ensure the restoration of peace to the areas, and it has remained so till date, thereby saving lives that would have ordinarily been lost if the Assembly had not intervened.

One doesn't need to look too hard to see the importance of these Laws passed by the Abia State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji as they concern, security, job creation, promotion of democratic principles and ideals, protection of the fundamental human rights of the citizens, youth empowerment among other dividends of democracy to the people.

There are also several Motions and oversight functions of the Assembly on the Executive that have also yielded positive results for the people.

We shall be looking at these and more in our subsequent writings.

Even at this stage, with the scanty information provided so far on the activities of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, we make bold to state that the Abia State House of Assembly will rank among the best three if not even the best of all.

Go and verify! Some of the live transmissions of and our regular updates will help you except you are being deliberately mischievous, loquacious and cantankerous

Determined to ensure that our youths will no longer be used as decorative accessories or persons to be flattered, Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor; the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Guber Candidate in Abia State has announced to Abia Youths that within seven months from August 16, 2022, he will ensure that a total of 100,000 youths will be trained on various skills.

Engr. Nwafor made this known on Sunday at his Umuojima Country Home when he addressed a cross section of Abia Youths drawn from different groups and higher institutions. The Founder of Each One Aid One Foundation, the Organisation adjudged to be the most supportive in Abia; informed the youths that "the most potent tool of vulnerability is being either unemployed or not gainfully employed, as that is one status that could expose you to ridicule".

Nana said that over the years, he has preferred "the method of offering youths, concrete, sustenable and workable opportunities deriving from their skills, not a one - off reward that fizzles out within a short period". He therefore called on the youths to the take advantage of the intensive free training and empowerment scheme for Abia Youths being organised by Each One Aid One Foundation commencing August 16, 2022. "The training", Nana revealed, "is structured in phases with the first phase absorbing 5,000 and subsequently 95,000 others spread across seven months".

According to Nana, "we will not only expose you to the training, we will make available start - up funds for outstanding trainees ready to be independent".

The foremost industrialist thanked the youths and their leadership, particularly Dontorch Princedozy for honouring his invitation and also showing verifiable commitment to the cause of a new Abia. He further acknowledged that the number that turned up is an eloquent testimony that the youths feel proud to identify with a member of their "department", like him.

The youths who spoke during the session agreed that it is very easy to trust Nana as he has a reputation of promising only that which he can fulfill. There were testimonies from different youths whose encounter with the YPP Guber Candidate, long before now; changed their lives positively. PoliticsYpp Gubernutorial Candidate Condoles With Ben Nwankpa Family In Abia by Kani101(op): 10:00pm On Jul 31, 2022
Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Gubernatorial Candidate in Abia State has condoled with the family of deceased Chief Benjamin Nwankpa.

In a hearty interaction with the wife of Chief Nwankpa and members of the Ben family at their Mgboko Okpulor Obingwa Local Government Area country home, Nana expressed shock that a hitherto healthy and lively Ben could exit without notice in the manner he did. The Osisioma born Industrialist recollected with amazing nostalgia, how the former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government "became a part of all that he met, came easily as a political roaring flame whose impact further demonstrated his belief in human capital development".

The YPP Guber Candidate reiterated that the YPP family in Abia has lost 'a Ben, a grassroots mobilizer, an enigma of some sort, man whose passion for a prosperous Abia was commendable and enviable".

Nana regretted that despite the constant reminders of man's vulnerability as a mere mortal, some still carry on as if they are oblivious of the fact that the peace of God passes all understanding.

The Founder of Each One Aid One Foundation while praying for the repose of the soul of Ben, assured the Ben Nwankpa family that "the larger YPP family in Abia would be part of efforts to immortalize the name of Ben for leaving indelible footprints on the sand of time".

Engr. Nwafor was accompanied to the visit by the Director - General of the Nana/Ofuji Campaign Organisation, Chief Okezie Ugboaja; the Chairman of Nana/Ofuji Campaign Council, Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha, Barr. Nnamdi Ahaaiwe, Chief Ukaegbu Ndukaku, YPP Candidate for Obingwa East State Constituency, Hon. PoliticsHon Ugochukwu Njinkoye A Typical Example Of A Compassionate Leader. by Kani101(op): 3:57pm On Jul 25, 2022
Compassionate leadership involves a focus on relationships through careful listening to, understanding, empathising with and supporting other people, enabling those we lead to feel valued, respected and cared for, so they can reach their potential.

Compassionate leaders seek influence not authority, they don’t demand, they encourage, they lead with hope, they guide, acknowledge and support their subordinates to combine their efforts, skills, talents, insights, passion, enthusiasm and commitment to work together for the greater good.

The above definition of a compassionate Leader succinctly captured and defined the reverend personality of Hon Ugochukwu Njinkoye the Executive Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area.

Few weeks past, i sent an SOS WhatsApp chat to Hon Njinkonye detailing him of a critical case of one Mr Ugochukwu Joshua, an indigene of Ohokobe Ndume in Umuahia North LGA who was diagnosed of pile complications, his condition had already deteriorated and medical professionals had certified the only to way to remedy the situation was through surgery.

Mr Joshua was due to go under the doctor's knife but financial skirmishes wouldn't let that happen, few hours after i sent a chat to Hon Njinkonye, he placed a call across to me ( remember, before my chat to him, i don't have any personal relationship with him neither have i spoken on phone with him before ) and gave me appointment to meet him in his office the next day.

After he dropped the epic call, i got emotional because in our clime today, it's almost rare to see such magnanimity come from a public figure.

The next day we met in his office, he welcomed me delightfully and even apologised for reaching out to me a bit late after i sent the WhatsApp chat, i was thinking he would send an aide to go with me to the hospital but no, my permutations were wrong; Hon Njinkonye to my amazement sent for the Leader of Umuahia North Legislative Council, Hon Peter Iroegbu to accompany him to the hospital.

At the hospital, Hon Njinkonye said "I'm so sorry you are experiencing this, life is full of these kinds of challenges, so don't worry, because you will surely overcome this present predicament, never give up hope, even during the toughest of times there's always a chance things will get better, i wish you quick recovery and pray you bounce back to your feet again much stronger "

He also gave the patient a huge financial support.

Only a leader who is clothed with kindness and genuine love for his people will do this.

May God continue to bless the Executive Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area, Hon Ugochukwu Njinkonye for his tremendous and excellent service to his people.

PoliticsAbia Poly De-accreditation: The Blood Tonic Cabal Sucked The Instititution. by Kani101(op): 12:51pm On Jul 25, 2022
I have read a piece written by Chief Don Ubani, my uncle. I’ve equally read that of John Okiyi Kalu and that of Eze Chikamnayo. In their individual narratives, they all blamed the institution’s leadership all in an attempt to exonerate the Abia State government and Uche Ikonne from the mess they plunged that institution into.

One thing these people should know is that most of us are not daft ; we have unrestricted access to every information we need to put things in the right perspective.

The worst form of disservice one could do himself is to gleefully tell blatant lies or even half truth just to defend the indefensible.

When you tell the people of Abia State that the Abia State government injected N7.1b into Abia Poly as subventions without also telling them how the same government through her privies and agents collected and looted half of same subventions by cohesion and intimidation, amounts to half truth.

The truth is that those who have manned the Abia Poly leadership since 2015 till today have been so unlucky. They unluckily ran into the hands of criminal elements in government house whose only interest is to steal everything left of the State without conscience. If any former Rector of Abia Poly can summon the courage to voice out, you would truly understand why that institution failed.

Do you know that once the government approves and releases a subvention to the institution’s leadership, same government goes from behind to mandate and force the institution’s leadership with intimidation to release half of the funds for white elephant projects that can never be executed? Don, Okiyi and Chikamnayo can never tell you this.

Each time you see me talk about the many havocs the blood tonic cabal in Abia government house has caused this State, I do so with every sense of responsibility. These guys are too greedy that they do not care about the rest of the State. One of the people seriously selling Uche Ikonne to succeed Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, has his hands deeply rooted in the woes that have finally killed Abia State Polytechnic, today.

Same man has been placed on several appointments in the current government in Abia State and was even projected to be governor before the cabal finally settled for the very old Uche Ikonne who also contributed greatly to the woes that finally consumed Abia State Polytechnic. This man is no other person than Rt. Hon. C.O Enweremadu.

Hon. C.O Enweremadu who is a serving commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs under the government of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, was the Chairman, governing council of Abia State Polytechnic when Prof. Allwell Onukaogu was the Rector of same institution.

At the time, Hon. Enweremadu awarded six contracts running into hundreds of millions to himself at the Osisioma campus of the institution without delivering any of those contracts. What this means is that C.O Enweremadu collected the resources running into hundreds of millions and never carried out any of those contracts.

The government of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu got this report in 2015 and never did anything about it. Instead, they further deepened the misery by coercively collecting returns from all the subventions they have released to the institution through her agents by way of introducing unrealized and or unrealizable contracts with no conscience.

They will tell you how they injected N7.1b into Abia Poly, but never will they tell you how they also siphoned same resources from behind with their usual intimidation techniques.

Abians, do you now see why C.O Enweremadu is bent on telling you to elect Uche Ikonne as your governor? All of them want nothing but another criminal mind who would assist them run away from answering to the crimes they committed against Abians by way of awarding contracts to themselves without delivering any after they had pocketed Abia resources.

Dear Abians, shine your eyes. Once bitten, twice shy.

PoliticsHow Ikonne, acho, aliga, nkire, others Perfected Plans To Pocket Abia. by Kani101(op): 8:32am On Jul 21, 2022
When Acho Nwakanma founded his Ukwa Ngwa elders council using Dee Max Nduaguibe as the ceremonial head, I knew some unscrupulous persons were up to something, but only had to obliterate under the Ukwa Ngwa elders council to carryout wicked plans against Abia and her citizens.

Major innocent members of the Ukwa Ngwa elders council are even oblivious of why that forum was formed till date. To some of them, it’s just a forum of elites championing the retention of power in old Aba division for another 8 years.

To the real protagonists of that forum, secretly headed by Chief Eric Acho Nwakanma, the architectural plan of the forum was to blackmail the governor into giving them the power to run the State the way they wish. Of course, they got that successfully because of the powers they used to beguile the governor.

Between 9th and 10th of March,2022, there was a meeting involving Acho Nwakanma, Theo Nkire, Raymond Aliga, Uche Ikonne and six others. The meeting also involved a woman - I will be mentioning the woman’s name and her involvements and roles to actualizing these wicked plans in my other series as we proceed.

At the meeting, the cabal nominated Uche Ikonne as the person they will be introducing to the governor as his successor as against C.O Enweremadu who was initially being projected.

They asked Ikonne to go home, consult his family and return to them on a later date for some documents he would be signing. Of course, they reconvened on a later date as agreed after Ikonne had excitedly showed his readiness to play along with the cabal.

This time around, they signed an agreement on the percentage the cabal will be taking from Abia security votes, federal allocations, contracts to be awarded and revenues from Ariaria, Ahia-Ohuru and other markets, should they end up convincing the governor to move along with him.

Shortly after that meeting, the cabal took Uche Ikonne to the governor which although,he accepted after a brief haggle, because of the powers already projected to beguile him.

They dolled out Abia resources running into 300 million Naira at first to get Uche Ikonne ready. The money moved from Aba governor’s lodge to Raymond Aliga’s house at midnight before they handed the bags of money over to Uche Ikonne and few close persons who accompanied him.

It was also from that 300 million Naira that 20 million Naira was spared to purchase the PDP nomination and expression of interest forms for Uche Ikonne on 30th of March, 2022 to be precise.

The most ridiculous aspect of the whole thing is that even these cabal men who nominated someone to rule over millions of Abians do not even have electoral value in their respective villages.

Chief Acho Nwakanma for instance if given the whole resources cannot even command a single vote in Ohanze his village, after coming home as a former deputy governor, he has become a kola boy and deputy chairman to the woman they smuggled in as Obingwa LGA Chairman from the back door.

Raymond Aliga on the other hand has now replaced Chimaeze Nwafor as the PA to the governor. He is not known in his village, he can’t command a single vote.

Dee Theo Nkire as the first Attorney General of Abia State in those days is an outdated and expired politician who has no place in today’s contemporary politics. The list is endless.

These are people who have perfected plans to put all Abians in their pocket for the next 8 years if we do not stand up to fight them now.

My Part-2 of the series would be revealing a whole lot. I will be exposing how much millions the cabal also collected from Dr. Chris Odinaka Igwe before they selected his immediate younger brother, Barr. Philip Okey Igwe to be Ikonne’s running mate.

Abia is in a serious trouble. We have to fight now; swim or be ready to sink.

PoliticsPDP Abia Gubernutorial Candidate, Prof. Uchenna Ikonne Is Greedy - MEZIE ABIA by Kani101(op): 5:48am On Jul 16, 2022
When Prof. Uche Ikonne was the vice chancellor of Abia State university, he was so greedy that he converted the entire institution to his family business. His son ,Chike was the one in charge of printing examination booklets in the entire university throughout Ikonne’s five years reign - that was one of the contracts used to syphon millions from the school coffers apart from their lliodant outsource firm.

A medical doctor so to say printing examination booklets for an institution. What a wonder.

Same Uche Ikonne introduced Wifi levy in Abia State polytechnic and handed same over to his son to manage and syphon funds as well.

Those who are projecting the man to be Abia governor do not know him too well. I pity those of our people who are supporting a rat out of naivety to oversee a meat in the basket.

In our local colloquium, there is this adage that says, “ there is no problem in giving the monkey water, where the problem lies is in retrieving the cup from the monkey after the deal.”

Prof. Uche Ikonne has no good track record as a public servant. He has never done anything so perfectly in his entire years in public service apart from embezzlement of funds - that’s his area of specialization.

Abia is already in a comatose to be left in the hand of a grumpy squanderer who would finally strangle the State before throwing the carcass to the vultures to feast on.

Shine your eyes, Ndi Abia.
