Please I need clarification on an issue

I just received my Wes evaluation and realized my year of birth is different from the on my birth certificate and passport by a year and I have reached out to my institution for corrections but they keep telling me it cannot be altered

I’ll like to know if there’s anything else I can do to make the corrections?
