Nigeria won the gold medal the moment civilian politicians were able to recruit the military authorities, traditional rulers and religious leaders to be part of corruption operations. There were periods in our history when civilian authorities were careful with corruption because they were afraid that the military will overthrow them and punish their corrupt practices, gone are those days , the late Ambrose Ali is an example of civilian leaders punished for even a "minor alleged" corruption . Not any more, everyone is now the same and corruption is free for all as long as the social media don't make you go viral like Ganduje and bullion can man
