ADVISE ON SWITCHING TO ACCOUNTING FROM PHYSIOLOGY.

I'm currently studying medicine but I hardly understand most of my courses. Passing has always been a struggle but my school awards two degrees so I can leave in 400L with a first degree in Physiology which I chose alongside Medicine( the medicine degree is awarded after the total 8yrs). I'm probably going to graduate with a second class lower or a third class. I'm in 300L but I'd like to switch to another career path that I can handle when I graduate.
I'm very good at arithmetic and calculations which is one of the criteria someone mentioned for accounting

I've been thinking of switching to accounting when I graduate. What do you think of this and how will I go about this when I graduate?
