Well IB went down after the cancellation of regional govt buh it is getting better again now. The old metros still stands because the city never experienced war. This doesn't mean there are no modern districts in IB. People just mostly focus on the old metros which are now mostly slums. Dugbe CBD is an example, most of the buildings there are 70's building, many are bn refurbished with few mordern buildings. I just pity ignorant folks sha.

Yinmu. And you think Ibadan ends there? As old as some parts of Ibadan is today, there are few new cities in Nigeria that can still stand it. The old places which are mostly now slums and ghetto were the major districts of Ibadan as at then just like the picture depicts. And because IB never experienced war like your onitsha hence it's then developed districts which are now old rusty ghettos still stands. Ibadan was the most populated city in Nigeria pre independence and 3rd most populated in todays Nigeria. You think the mass migration to IB then and now is just for clout? 3-4 storey buildings doesn't mean development. U.K, Portugal, Slovenia and many other European countries have little to no high rise buh Asians and Americans with many of them still rush to EU day in day out in search of greener pasture. 3-4 storey isn't development oga ade.
