Mrbigman1:Thanks for your response, although I had to decode what you meant by "levels". In that case, I think it's even better for one to choose above 7 days to avoid touching stories with the ineffective courier services we have in Nigeria. Imagine someone who has chosen exactly 7 days (travel date) from the passport submission date and has even paid for flight ticket!! Then DHL now delays in returning the passport within the stipulated time frame. |
derpkunta:Congratulations!! I even was about asking after the travel date you chose, if it's exactly 7days(ie August 30th) from the day (August 23rd) you submitted your passport. |
Hello house.... I've been trying my very best to read through the thread rather than ask unnecessary questions but this particular post isn't much clear to me. **Please indicate your travel date, bearing in my that your departure should be scheduled "at least 7 days from the posting of your envelope"** I dug this out from an A.M mail a moniker posted while reading through the thread in part 3 (around page 360-365) For those whom have all gotten their visas, please I need to clarify if this message further means that one should choose a travel date "at least 7 days from the day he/she will submit the passport+travel insurance" @ the consulate. For example, one submits the passport on August 1st and chooses August 8th as his/her travel date. Thanks for your responses |
sheddyboyf:Getting a travel insurance prior to interview doesn't increase ones chances of getting a visa. Why not wait till you are called to submit your passport/travel insurance. If you have been following the thread, you would have read that a travel insurance can be obtained in few hours from any insurance company. |
neahyo:Thanks for further clarification. God bless and safe trip ahead!! |
neahyo:Was the soft copy accepted by the Consulate or you still had to wait till the hard copy arrived before going to submit. |
bizza009:Ahn ahn.. maka why!! Please don't be paranoid brother. Just send a mail to them(copy email addresses of the admissions office, international office, program coordinator) explaining the reason behind the delay stating that you have already fulfilled the requirements needed to obtain your study permit (visa) but logistics issues is presently delaying the arrival of your international passport. Some one else might have a better opinion. this is just my own view. |
Emmiefadz:if you submitted in person, then it wouldn't take that long. I think 7 working days maximum, although I may be wrong cos I heard some people have gotten their passports even the same day. Maybe experienced hands in the house may have a better knowledge instead. |
neahyo:Bros.. You be one man mopole o. congratulations!! Wish you the very best in Germany |
neccki:Honestly speaking, I'm still surprised. she ought to have gotten a response by now. I have sent all Rhine waal contacts(both emails and phone no) to her sef. Campus KleveMarie-Curie-Straße 1, 47533 Kleve, Deutschland Telefon: +49 2821 80673-0 E-Mail: info@hochschulerheinwaal.de StudiengangsleitungProf. Dr. Jörn Sickmann E-Mail: joern.sickmann@hochschule-rhein-waal.de StudiengangskoordinatorTobias Buse E-Mail: tobias.buse@hochschule-rhein-waal.de Student Service Center E-Mail: studienberatung@hochschule-rhein-waal.de International Office E-Mail: international-office@hochschule-rhein-waal.de |
Hello house please I need to confirm this. I friend of mine told me that her application was approved last month by Uni assist and she did you pay any 75 euros. She is heading to Rhine waal University but yet to get an admission. I advised her to call the school to know if her application has been sent to them. I have been admitted oo. I'm just trying to help a friend of mine. |
Johnnyessence:Read a page backwards and you will see where someone wrote it. Bro this is not the time to start asking whether the have started giving out dates or not. There is always an epitome of truth in every rumour, so please just send and you might be lucky. cheers |
Obinoscopy:I thought this issue had already been settled. Let's move forward bro. The next gist now is that the consulate has started giving dates again. I read this some minutes ago on this thread. I HOPE YOU HAVE SENT THEM A MAIL! |
neccki:He is a big man na. You have to think twice before asking big men questions o [quote author=neccki post=59636495] |
neccki:Same here... You are absolutely right. |
Mrbigman1:Okay sir... #case closed# |
kellyskys:Thank God another source has attested to this. It will be very ill-minded of me to just come up and post infos. that will derail someones future. Devine providence will definitely pay me back in same measures. |
Mrbigman1:I'm sure bro. I don't say what I haven't confirmed.
|
legacy30:YWC |
legacy30:No worries then, it will still suffice. The reason I gave the VO mine was simply because she asked for my grade during my project defence. It's not a mandatory requirement so please don't get yourself bothered about it bro. |
Mrbigman1:Don't forget to take your uni transcripts just in case the VO requests for it. |

House please don't mind my hilarious post... I'm just trying to ease off tension as I can see people are really curious about the interview questions. Just learn the basics and you are good to go. I hope they start granting appointment date to all hopefuls, Amen. |
![]() Johnnyessence:Hehehe.... the only exception is if you tell them stuffs like pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Them go give you your visa immediately ![]() Johnnyessence:Hehehe.... the only exception is if you tell them stuffs like pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. gabi101:Bro...You have to figure out what to answer for number 15. It's a personal question because whatever you say, you must know how to back it up since they might input virtually every response of yours into their system. For example, during my interview, I told them (the VO) my sponsor owns a company and I immediately showed the VO an evidence to back that up in order to avoid further interrogations on the subject. These VOs like it when you have a proof of whatever you say as it makes the processing faster. I hope this helps. |
Johnnyessence:Hmmm.... when they have an internet facility that is faster than Usian bolt |
Johnnyessence:Honestly speaking o... she did and thank God I even attached my transcript as proof in case she decides to check it later. Mine was a bit tough but yours will be smooth IJN, Amen. |

Smart move. Attachee [/quote
lol... we have to pay our dues. that's the fuel that keeps the thread alive. |
neccki:@magnificient7 : Well, it seems your interview went well. Also had my interview but it wasn't a German VO. She also asked me same questions too but didn't give me any sheet of paper to fill. She said I should go straight to the point at first, so I knew I had to summarize my speech throughout. She also asked me about my sponsor and his/her occupation. She asked me about my Bsc Project and I should even discuss it in details o. Finally she asked me my project grade. |
