You definitely have a decent and mature way of responding to enquiries, queries and questions Seyewest. My respect.

Looking at it from every angle... it's not looking good but we're not the V.O so make them go ahead with it.

With due respect, you don't work with the USCIS or US Consulate and so might not be competent to determine what will work or not.Pardon me,you are not God,therefore you are not in any position to ascertain what is in their family blood or not. Each man/woman with his or her own story,so please spare us the assertion that she has tried to beat "premeditated plan by ensuring she has been going in and out of the US before this status adjustment" Are you a mind reader?US is not North Korea where the sins of a person is melted on generations of family members.
OmoBendel24:

This one has done registry as it is now and also want to have the big church wedding day now, hoping to bring in her family member by that means. Also as a justification, she has tried to beat the "premeditated plan" accusation by ensuring she has been going in and out of the US before this status adjustment step. It won't work, it's in their family blood to be unnecessarily smart.... Someone will pay for this as things stand now

Good evening house,I have been a silent reader on this group and I had my interview today together with my wife and 2 year old daughter and it was approved. I read the almost 1000 pages constituting this thread religiously and researched extensively, lol. All in all,it was the Grace of God.

It was the 10:45 appointment and there were so many people there.

VO:Good morning(smiling).

US:Good morning to you(smiling)

VO:Please pass your passports.

VO:Where are you travelling to?

US:Philadelphia and New York

VO:Who is in Philadelphia?Do you have a relative there?

WIFE: My aunt is in Philadelphia even though we only intend to spend the Easter weekend with her as we will be staying in a hotel for the remainder of the vacation.

VO:Where do you work?

WIFE:I work with the **** of Nigeria as a ***** where I carry out (so and so)responsibilities and all her duties.

VO:How much do you earn?

WIFE:I earn 1***** thousand naira but I am paid **** as upfront, also **** as bonus and ****as allowances.

VO: Have you travelled before?

WIFE:Yes I have travelled to Togo for *****,also travelled to Dubai for my wedding shopping and lastly travelled with my husband to Dubai in 2015 after we were denied our US visa.

At this juncture, I came in as it was my wife that had been answering all the questions and me I wanted to talk small join, lol.

ME: I also work with ****** as a Federal Prosecutor where on behalf of the FGN I prosecute **** and ***** cases.

She stops at this juncture, looks at us,smiles and said"you both work in interesting places".

We both smiled back and wifey quickly added that:

WIFEY:His(me) job is even more interesting as he has an appeal in a case that was reported by the US govt in May.

Me:I also prosecute visa ****cases.

VOsadnodding her head)How long have you both been doing these jobs?

WIFE: 4years and 2months.

ME: 6 years this year.

VO:Continues typing for a long time and picks up the white envelope, circles a part and informs us that our visa has been approved.I didn't hear the rest, just couldn't wait to be out of the place, lol.

I learnt from Lady G here and other sources that you should always emphasize your strong ties and that's what we did.We spoke confidently about our jobs because wifey and I rehearsed on likely questions and satisfactory answers to them many times.

My observation on this trend is that we can be more diplomatic and courteous in responding to the questions of others without necessarily making them look stupid or being outrightly insulting.I have observed in trends from other countries that even when the intention of an applicant is manifestly illegal, they don't prosecute and jail them on those trends but they correct and pass their messages decently. We can be more civil to our fellow country men even when they are wrong.Thanks.

Hi,I observed that you had an interview which you scheduled for December last year.Did you still go for that interview or it was rescheduled. If you did attend same and was denied,my opinion is that perhaps you should still give it sometime. Also, you initially stated that you intended to visit Atlanta, maybe there are inconsistencies in your previous application and the recent one.Your virgin passport may also be another factor. You should try and build a travel history with your family and take it up from there.Take care man.

Counsel, can you kindly share your transcript?
Valentino25:
Hello everyone, my name is Valentine, i'm a lawyer, my tourist visa got approved today, I have no travel history and currently married, it was just the mercy and favour of God, the guy at window 7 today had denied so many people, even people with better profiles and travel history, my interview with him was more of a chit chat than interview.
My advice, do not falsify any document or lie to get a visa, even people with Virgin passports like me still get visas, be truthful and sincere, know your onions in your profession cus Dude asked me a question regarding a course I did way back in my year two as a law student. praise God people
