Can the Holocaust be Funny? Tom Doran April 5, 2013 How tragic that one of her last acts as principal will reward someone who epitomizes that cowardice.
McGill's Judith Butler Bungle Gil Troy May 23, 2013 The term remains a handy tag we stick on deeds which in our beguilement or cowardice we cannot or will not confront. According to your definitions, Ibos are cowards. Any government in power people. If you know what I mean. Which courage do Ibos have? When have you ever you face the Fulani herdsmen organization? Didn't your politicians ask you to pray and fast after Enugu butcher? Didn't Ebonyi governor beg Fulani herdsmen to stay? What courage have you people shown? You think courage is by making noise online? Ibos are cowards. You've won no war. You're not united. You can't stand to live amongst other Ibos. You'd rather a Yoruba neighbor/friend than another Ibo in your space. You're jealous spiteful things. Yoruba phobia is your diagnosis, chronic Yoruba phobia is your prognosis. |

Or you people are just so clueless that you don't know the meaning of fighting for freedom.
Fighting for freedom is for people who feel like they don't have freedom and last time I checked, Yoruba people have their freedom to do whatever they want and their are not complaining so what's your silly freedom got to do with Yoruba people?
Yoruba people have better things to do and they don't have time for your foolishness.. I love the bolded part. |

Olabestonic001: Then, SW must really be very smart not to have fought but to still be at the forefront in the comity of nations from your premises. Seriously, I do not think a typical SW man learnt how to fight or battle but rather how to think and negotiate. Interestingly, under-estimating the Yoruba man is at your own peril. He learnt tactics and not warring. But, presently, the Yorubaman have left battle and foolish agitations for the fools, he has learnt to leave at peace with those around him knowing fully well that he who does not seek to dominate anyone would not be dominated himself but he who sought to shall be dominator. He knows that even if he must agitate, if must not be to waste her youths but to achieve a result. His war or agitations will be pursue devoid of emotions and passions. His pursuit is always one without fanning of emotional biases. Even all who deal with the Omoluabi doffed his cap for him not for his muscular frame or paranoia tendencies, but his live and lets live orientation, his tolerant nature, his peaceful demeanor, his ability to procure the costliest peace, his discernment of rabble-rousers, his ability to confound those waiting for a genocide on him, his intellectual efficacy and above all, his ability to strategize and achieve his aims. Many have wished they could be like him in all these spheres but few will ever admit it. They'd rather wished he lost his position so that they can "take-over". But, since the Omoluabi does not chase to dethrone anyone, he has no stool his jealous neighbor can seize. Rather than wished to " dethrone" him, his jealous neighbor only need to learn the Art of Societal Norms and Requirements from this omoluabi.
The other day at Onitsha, I watched in amazement as my jealous neighbor made a storm out of a tea-cup from a grand Efulefu that threatened him. I must confess my disappointment from my neighbor who can't even decipher from a dangerous man and a mouthed man. Hopefully, my jealous neighbor will understand better as we all evolve. Not everything is a battle! |

IamAtribalist:
Why didn't Akpabio provide evidence for his claim? As a lawmaker he should no that making such claims without evidence is tantamount to mouth diarrhea. The Yorubas are the most successful tribe in Nigeria that is why you see a lot of jealousy from others especially the ibos. I have told members of my own tribe to copy the Yorubas - their wisdom, intellect and cleverness. Ibos behave like poorly evolved monkeys and the South-South (except my tribe) is filled with brain-dead bonobos like Akpabio. |

Ikeg48: Maybe you should start reading the post of your blother, ridawbyo or wetin him dey call himself. Infact, any thread about NDA or IPOb, read it and Pay CLOSE attention to what your people write.
Oyo empire is known for what? Nri Kingdom that's known as one of the oldest civilization and Ekemeku war that's known as the longest resistance against Europeans and this one is shouting Oyo empire. And so? Is Oyo empire the tribe yoloba defeated.
Make me ask my question again
What are the names of the tribes Yoloba have been chest beating they defeated.
If na mouth action and screaming, we'll give that to una. But since you're claiming "we won wars against many tribes". Oya we want know how the first tribe to get colonized easily and also ONLY tribe to get defeated by women automatically won several war against several tribes. Name am.
Stop beating around the bush Who sabi Nri. We're talking about respected empires in Africa, this one is mentioning small chestbeating villagers. Mtchew. Fact is, you can't mention any way the Ibos have won because those cowards haven't won any ish. Simple hunger strategy conquered the unplanned Biafra suicide. |

ChinenyeN: It's threads like this that really annoy me. The general Nigerian populace should be aware by now of the fact that Igbo people do not historically form a single block of people until colonization. No joint military action occurred between "Igbo" and other Nigerians until the Biafran war. That was a loss. Before this, most interaction "Igbo" communities had in pre-recorded history was between them and other "Igbo" communities.
Most interaction, such as settlement in what is now called "Igboland", was pretty laissez-faire. Heterogeneous hamlets, villages and townships were formed without much intervention and disturbance. It was rare for any fighting to occur across town lines, as such it was rare to see any sort of large scale militaristic mobilization. At the "fringes" (something that did not exist until colonization), there are scores of townships and villages which constitute various hamlets of various settlement history and very few record any major conflicts that exceed family feuds.
To that extent, "Igbo" communities do not share history, despite this "Igbo" label people keep using. So, it should come as no surprise then why most Igbo cannot recall a single battle fought against other Nigerian groups. Most Igbo communities did not fight battles against other Nigerian groups, period. And where a historical battle did occur, its relevance was limited only to the communities which were involved.
And until this day, nothing in pre-recorded history is shared as an aspect of modern "Igbo" history. No one should expect to hear much about pre-recorded historical battles between "Igbo" and "non-Igbo". Lol tomorrow you claim individualism today you claim unity. Ok. Tell us how many wars Osu, fake and real Ibos have won. Those are the three segments of Ibo people. |

Even though Arochukwu won the Arochukwu war against Ibibio, not one igbo chest beat alot it.

oya who are this tribe you defeated? Name am So when did Yorubas claim to defeat many tribes? Ibos claim bravery, you think bravery is making noise online and asking your people to fast and pray?
