No joint military action occurred between "Igbo" and other Nigerians until the Biafran war. That was a loss. So, it should come as no surprise then why most Igbo cannot recall a single battle fought against other Nigerian groups. Most Igbo communities did not fight battles against other Nigerian groups, period. And where a historical battle did occur, its relevance was limited only to the communities which were involved.

And until this day, nothing in pre-recorded history is shared as an aspect of modern "Igbo" history. No one should expect to hear much about pre-recorded historical battles between "Igbo" and "non-Igbo".
