Please, I like to know if your younger brother got the Bahrain visa through an agent or he got a job offer directly. I've been searching for one without success for a while now and it's frustrating.

My younger brother just got his Bahrain Visa approval and have obtained ticket too.

The agent told him to hold $1,000 before boarding Ethiopian Airline that the airline will not allow him in if he don't have $,1000 BTA cash. He also said that some other airlines ask for $1500 BTA and that only ETA accept $1,000

Now Bank is not ready to sell $1,000 in cash, says they can only credit in credit card after my brother apply for the BTA for approval through CBN portal.

Can someone who had experience in this situation please confirm to me if this is true that you must hold $1,000 in cash before boarding Ethiopian Airline or other airlines
