Music/Radio / Kanye West’s New Album Jesus Is King Finally Out. by KasperSA: 6:17pm On Oct 28, 2019
Kanye West’s New Album Jesus Is King finally out.

After a series of Sunday Services on the project, listening parties, and long-awaited glamour over the arrival, the ye successor has finally come through.

After a long-anticipated release delay, hip-hop star Kanye West’s new Jesus is King album is finally out now.

West’s new drop came as a follow up to 2018’s ye was initially teased back in when Kim Kardashian West talked about its imminent release by tweeting a photo of a handwritten tracklist.

But however, she dated it September 27. While On the night of the 27th, Kim announced that the album would arrive two days later. But fell through once again.

Over the weekend sometime last month, the album was expected to drop, Kanye West held Series of Sunday Service, hosted listening parties over the course of the album.
Preparation didn’t end at that but also unveiled an accompanying documentary film that’s now showing in IMAX theaters.

Earlier this week, the rap star announced that Jesus Is King would arrive at midnight on October 25. Upon the close of the day, midnight came and went, West tweeted that he was finalizing mixes for three tracks.

He did as earlier said, however, make a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

On October 24, Kanye was on set alongside Zane Lowe for a two-hour interview. During the conversation, he announced his fought coming album dubbed on Christmas Day called Jesus Is Born.

At several points on the album, Kanye references the 13th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which established the abolition of slavery.

The text of the 13th Amendment reads: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” On the song “On God,” Kanye raps, “13th Amendment, gotta end it, that’s on me.”

During his meeting with Donald Trump in the White House last year, Kanye discourse about his problem with the 13th Amendment at length: “You know, so the four—the four gentlemen that wrote the 13th Amendment didn’t look like the people they were amending. Also at that point, it was illegal for blacks to read—or African Americans to read. And so that meant if you actually read the Amendment, you would get locked up and turned into a slave.” Some have inferred that he’s specifically referring to the exception clause of the amendment.

Prior to the extensive hype of Jesus Is King, Kanye West announced last year that his next album would be titled Yandhi.

The project was originally planned for a release date of September 29, 2018—the same night as his infamous Saturday Night Live appearance.

The album did not materialize on that date and was further delayed, and then shifted indefinitely. But finally, 25th October was the day the cat was let go of the bag.

Kayne’s last album ye arrived in 2018 during a summer when he also dropped albums for PUSHA-T, Nas, and Teyana Taylor. He also released Kids See Ghosts, his joint LP with Kid Cudi.

While the latest of all Jesus is King is a solo album containing gospel 11 tracks. A notable target is on the entertainment industry discouraging sex while artists are working on set to release.

Notwithstanding its a joy for listeners is gospel rap as envisioned by one of hip-hop’s greatest record hitmakers.

The Legendary Kanye West’s mission upon JESUS IS KING is not like that of the albums before it, encouraging fans to take a good hard look at themselves and to think about where they’re headed.

The album can be best described as a masterpiece of love. As he tells Lowe, “A family that prays together stays together.”
