Stop displaying your ignorance stupidly. Snake bite isn't a contraindication to administer CPR. & the hospital has told you that they administered a polyvalent antivenom which is broad-spectrum & neutralizes venoms from multiple snake species. Asking about the snake species may not even be of much help in this instance as the patient & relatives may not even know the species or may not have seen the snake. Again, the medical practitioner isn't a trained vet that he'd know all species of snakes. Also, you may need to find out how neurotoxic venoms work so you'd understand how & why the victim died. Just to aid you, that venom paralyzes the muscles including those for respiration. So it's most likely that the victim had breathing difficulties which would have led to respiratory failure. A smart person would have asked how long it took her to get to get to the hospital as some snake venoms are quite swift in action. Dogalmighty17: Providing CPR on a snake bite victim? This only further pushes the venom deeper into the body. The first question any competent medical professional will ask is, what kind of snake bit her? This will quickly narrow down and pinpoint the most effective anti-venom for that particular kind of snake.
The shameful disgrace of Nigeria is that the whole federal capital territory doesn't have a centre equipped with anti-venom that any hospital across Abuja can call and have it available in minutes.
Abuja is expanding. It is inevitable that this expansion will reach areas that certain wildlife have long regarded as home. These displaced animals, snakes inclusive, start entering residential areas. The case of the Airforce personnel who got bitten by a snake that crawled through her soak-away into her toilet, is fresh in memory. Her house was built in a freshly claimed area.
Yet just a 45 minute drive from Abuja, along the Abuja-Keffi expressway, is a snake farm owned by a retired Chief of Army staff. The most evil CAS this country has ever had. Snake venom is steadily harvested from that farm and shipped abroad. |

This remains the bane of our problem. We never ever advocate for social justice & equity.
You got help from the LASG because someone that had access to the then governor made a case for you, same way others may have gotten help from the then ABSG if they had access.
We should be advocating that government provides healthcare facilities that would cater for the needs of a majority if not all irrespective of ailment & social status. |

Quite true. I had one as a teacher. He was a renowned professor of Surgery and had a flourishing hospital & school in Aba. He's the late Professor Charles Adeyinka Adisa, & he was buried on his property in Aba. Those who say Igbos don't sell landed property to non-Igbos are bigots. Beremx: Another Yoruba man doing well in Anambra.
This thread is for Igbo haters who haven't traveled outside their state. There are Yoruba people doing extremely well in Igbo land who have married Igbos and built houses. |

It's funny how y'all ask questions of Obi but would never want your preferred choices to answer any questions. To think you've got the audacity to call others zombies. Tinubuwins2023e: I am glad how things are playing out for people supporting Obituary but get burnt because they decided to ask honest questions. The useless zombies will roast them and that time they will know the kind of people those animals are. We know who this people are and we will never support them because they are disgusting clowns and they don't have brain to think and the name zombie fits them PERFECTLY. I say it with all my chest that if they born Macaroni well, if they born him papa well make him question Peter Obituary, just a honest and harmless question o. Let us see how it will play out for him if he no collect from those delusional nonentities |
