Both wont be missed. Jota was never a starter due to his numerous injury problems. Even in Portugal, he was third fiddle in the pecking order behind ronaldo and Ramos. As for Trent, he won't be missed because his place has been filled. Besides, he was a defensive liability.

City are not cutting any of their main attackers. Grealish and mcatee are the ones likely leaving which still leaves 7 for 4 positions.

When it comes to defensive positions it's ok to have 8players for 4 positions so why is having 8 players for 4 positions in attack regarded as hoarding. How many defenders do we currently have?

So in your mind, badiashile, fofana, gusto are reliable backup for first choice defenders
