Please when did you apply and were you told the reason for the delay? I applied through the embassy since 7th of March for family reunion but havent gotten a response yet

They are snowed under with applications. So they have had to stage all applications and going through the back log......

I applied for italian family reunion visa since 7th of March and am yet to get a text. Opened the embassy's website, they said visas are temporarily suspended. Does anyone know what's up?
