As a recent victim of omission, a "trusted" female friend of over 6.5 years kept me hanging on to hope of a potential marriage for 5 months, then admitted that she is "committed to" and "crazy in love" with a guy 3,000 miles away that she hooks up with about every three months when he comes into town. How does one recover from broken trust of a confidante whom you have shared nearly every intimate detail of your life?
