Romance / Re: I'm Losing My Faith And Respect For Naija Women by kaymoney2(m): 9:26pm On Mar 13, 2011
From women who want to use their body to play games, to those women who have decided that life is easier when you have multiple guys you can date and have pay for meels regularly. From chics who think that they are the Holy Grail for manhood to the chics who are so mentally unstable that they project their feers onto everything. From the women who preach chastity while jerking the other guy off under the table to the women who love to say "it's just intimacy". I've always felt it was a raw deal when the "guys" talk down on women, or when they say "**** them and forget them". But anymore, I am starting to feel like thats exactly what should be done. Run your game on them before they can finish running their game on you. Go in for the intimacy and get out as fast as you can afterward. Don't think of the woman as another person, think of her as a hole to be plugged for awhile.

Give me reason not to feel this way, honestly, I don't want to be the typical guy using a chic for her body, but I find myself starting to believe that mentality.

Good talk there bros lets pray for them so that they can change from

Mrs.Chima:

Would you date a woman or man who wants to put their baby up for sale or have sold their baby because they have no way of supporting themselves?

If a woman told you she sold her babies to survive, what would your reaction be?

If a man told you he sold his babies to survive, what would your reaction be?

Would you have children with the man or woman that sold their babies for food?

I smell rat with Mr & Mrs Chima here shocked shocked shocked angry

Demain_man:

Thanks, I will wait until my economy improves. I hate to not being able to complete once i start. I really would love to do this soon as land has been like I bought it since 2006.

Bros yes you can dont rush into building something you wont desire and later you think
You have wasted the space, time and money, I bought my own land in 2003, I started
my building construction last year April then I was hurrying myself** And trying to economise
my resources that made me to opt for Adex roofing sheet but now am blaming myself after I roofed
the building with such roofing sheet, The diff with that adex and Alluminium is not much,
Alluminium would have made my building more beautiful and safer than Adex roofing sheet, check page 11 of this thread for the picture Sometime we need not rush so as not to blame yourself in future

I am think that N50,000 blocks will be enough for this work i.e about 500 blocks, maybe two trips of sand and about 10 bags of cement

The windows could be wood and roofing sheet will be the standard zinc. I don't want to spend more than N150,000. I don't mind not plastering the outside until later.

I feel you bros mind you what is what doing at all is what doing well
even at 200k it cant be enough for you ordinary roofing you will spend close to 30k or more on wood
Zinc per bundle may be 10k am not sure.
Bros even building a single  shop costs more than 150k

Guys, Pls advice. I want to build a temporal (room and palour) x 2 batcher on my land with kitchen and toilet. Can N100,000 do the job?

@Demain_man N100k will only take you to window level
That amount can never take you far I think N400k to N500k will do it for you

Am Alone:

Bros, what I did is german floor. And it was done before raising the block
And it is 3 Inches high. Since it was not a water-log area
There is no need for putting any iron at all.
Some people I know did the floor after raising the blocks. And that is way cheaper
and some even do it to 1 or 2 inches high. While some other people do it to 4 to 5 to 6 inches high.
My advice. At most let it be 4 inches high.

@ Anyone. Please be very carefull with this land of a thing!!!
Before buying a land, please make sure the land is a level land(table flat or almost)
Do not waste your money buying sloppy lands no matter hw cheap because
the cost of building is usually very HIGH!!
For example.
My foundation is 2 and half coaches above the ground, but the dinning kitchen and store are 3 and 1/2 coaches
above the grond and I spend around 150,000 to fill it(please not my house is very high from the ground, compared to most other
houses. Some are even same level with the ground while others are just one coach above. that's while)
Then I have somebody who spend 1.1million in filling alone. Because the house was built on a very sloppy ground
Also, slopply ground require more concrete and iron and pillars and german floor is a must. So be advice
Peace

You are Spot on?? This advantage I enjoyed during the process of filling my site with latterite
and setting of blocks My land is flat, regular just like a plain football pith very important observation there Am Alone

@2dmax

This is the quotation for the wires the electrician gave me.

1mm 2 core Nigeria Cable ----------10 coil @ 3200 = 32,000
1mm 3 core Nigeria Cable ----------2 coil @ 6000  = 12,000
1.5mm 3 core Nigeria Cable---------2 coil @ 7000  = 14,500
2.5mm 3 core Nigeria Cable---------6 coil @ 8000  = 48,000
4mm 3 core Nigeria Calbe-----------1 Coil @ 24,000 =24,000
16mm single cable -----------------2 coil @ 35,000 =70,000
Cable or tv -----------------------3 coil @ 1400   =4200
Fishing tape ----------------------2 coil @ 1000   = 2000
Total ===== 206,200
workmanship =85,000
Grand total = 291,200

for only wiring o

@2dmax
pls give me your own quotation for the above

Nice thread I am at this level of Electrical, conduiting, pipping and plumbering
I think Am Alone quotation would go along way giving me an insight of what to expect
for my 4 bedroom all ensuite bungalow flat,  Though since his house is much bigger than mine
my expenses on the above should be lesser,
Moreso I have put the project unhold till when am around in August to finally complete it,
God bless all Landlords and intending landlords,
Building a house is not  a pure water no water what you are building
