It's unfortunate that people fail to apply common sense especially when it has to do with life.

I had similar experience when my wife wanted to give birth. The doctor told me the only option was CS, and I quickly consented because I saw how my wife was groaning in pains and I couldn't afford to loose any of them. Thank God she gave birth successfully.

I informed my in-laws and they complained why didn't I inform them before I made such decision. Smh
