The US is fully aware of the happenings in Nigeria, they've always been aware. The US is aware of the massacres metted out on the christian population of southern kaduna, the christian communities of southern Borno that are some of the most terrorized communities on the planet, the vastly christian states of Plateau and Benue that are the playgrounds of genocidal fulani islamic terrorists. IDP camps are all over the place.
Yes, fulani have extended their terror to moslems too, because evil is inherently self-destructive, but that does not negate the atrocities they've perpetrated and continue to perpetrate against Christian communities in the North, and even in the South too with incessant kidnappings.

Antibiotics(penicillin G or erythromycin) are effective against diphtheria, they should please start to treat the kids that are showing any symptoms.

When the disease is advanced enough to compromise the airway or becomes systemic, they'll need some level of ventilatory and circulatory support, because these are the complications that would kill an infected person.

I advise that they treat prophylactically with the aforementioned antibiotics and vaccinate all exposed individuals who have not been vaccinated.

Let me tell you Yoruba people have been living in Ghana even before Nigeria independence, and almost every family in Ogbomoso have relatives in Ghana.I lived in Ghana before my father brought me back home to have Secondary school in Nigeria in late 80s.
There's even intermarriage between the two tribes and Yoruba have their Obas in places Aflao, Kumasi and Volta region villages.
IGBO people arrived in Ghana after Biafran war and after Nigeria economy witnessed downturn. They started new yam celebration after a few years when they were fully integrated..
Eventually, they started having Eze Ndigbo and imposing taxes on their subject as if they're in Nigeria.
These behaviors of those Ezes does not go down well with the Ghanaian local kings and it boomerang in recent years when they started enlarging their territory caused friction and hostility amongst the residents.
So, Yoruba people have been living peacefully because they do not overstepped their boundaries and respect the local kings unlike our Eze Ndigbo brothers.

I'm familiar with yoruba history in Ghana, Hausa have been there forever too. The Eze Ndigbo has not done anything out of the ordinary in Ghana. He has clearly elucidated on his functions as a leader for his kinsmen in Ghana, he has no interest in establishing a kingdom there, honors the culture and traditional rulers of Ghana.
A certain politician in Ghana looking to capitalize on anti-Nigerian rhetoric, latched onto an old situation of over 10-years ago when the Eze-Ndigbo tried to buy a large piece of land in a certain region in Ghana. He went through the process legitimately, and worked with the actual traditional leader of the territory to facilitate the purchase. Eventually, the purchase fell-through and that was that.
The politician now emerges all these years later, riding the wave of anti-Nigerianism in Ghana, to proclaim that Eze Ndigbo wants to establish a kingdom in Ghana. Naturally, typical urchins in Nigeria that despise the Igbo ran with the narrative. They question why should an Eze Ndigbo even exist in other people's lands. When their hypocrisy is exposed because they have their Oba in other people's lands too, they pivot to false claims of Igbo not respecting their host and the latest one; "It's AI generated humor" grin

Even most Ghanaians can see through the charade already and have no interest in any of that false indignation, but Igbo-hating urchins, true to form, have chosen to die on this hill.
The Igbo man is peace-loving and about his business wherever he finds himself. When urchins accuse them of overstepping their boundaries, it's just veiled tribalism and resentment of their audacity to succeed.

I have a theory that some of the toxic ingredients in makeup extravasates into the brain and triggers a level of psychosis in some women.

I've carefully observed some of them almost spontaneously transmutate as soon as they apply those mind-altering products to their faces. In these extreme cases, the urge to give off 'bad bish' vibes is undefeated...they put on a new attitude, new walk, new talk...name it.

I call it 'Makeup induced encephalopathy(MIE)'.

Now, what could possibly cause this girl/woman to so ruthlessly attack this young man, who is supposedly already her friend, just for asking her out? A normal person, free of MIE, would have responded with something to the effect of 'I'm flattered, but I don't see our relationship that way, I'd prefer we remain just friends. Hope you understand'.

From this girl's insane response, I deduce that she must have been using heavy makeup even from around the age of 5. Whenever she expires, an autopsy is a must, so scientists can examine her brain under a microscope to help in identifying characteristic MIE changes.

There's nothing worth discussing here. Anywhere in the world where you have a metropolis, you have people of diverse backgrounds settling in a location with some resultant displacement of indigenous communities. There's nothing necessarily malicious about it, it's a process that's driven by economic realities.

This is nothing unique to Lagos, it's true anywhere a city springs up in the world. I'm from the Ngwa clan in Alaigbo, Aba is in Ngwa land, most of the inhabitants of modern Aba are from other Igbo clans and non-Igbos. The Aba metropolis keeps expanding to adjacent Ngwa communities, we're not crying about it, we don't moan every day that we developed Aba by ourselves, because that would be a blatant lie.

Any city you go to in Nigeria, or in the world for that matter, it's someone's ancestral land that others, Yoruba included, have come to settle in.

I find it quite foolish that some yoruba continually moan uncontrollably about other Nigerians living in Lagos, given that yoruba live freely in other Nigerian cities without harassment.

Personally, I don't pay them any mind, I don't acknowledge their gaslighting techniques and blatant lies like 'oh they do not respect the host community, they interfered in our politics'. It's all pre-packaged tribalism and they know it.

No, I'm not remorseful that all Nigerians get to live in Lagos, or in any other city in the world.
