Hello guys, I need more explanation please...... I choose, political science education, wen I registered for jamb, during post jamb registration I saw teacher education, i was worried and confused so I brought the issue here and it was clarify..... Unlike like before ui would release cut off for teacher education in uniform both science, art and social sciences.....a friend of mine choose teacher education from the outset but there's no cut off mark for teacher education as a whole rather all the course under it had different mark....now he does know here he belong..

With what I've read, it seem the chances for people who score below 55 is thin.

Most people are claiming 60's and 70's, yet they haven't met the cut off.

You should have checked UI website to confirm whether she offers the course before applying for it.
For example, Jamb always display International relation for UI during registeration and there's always a statitics for it but UI doesn't offer the darn course.

BOTTOM LINE: It's still the same way Jamb allows candidate to choose wrong combination without correcting it.

Bro have answered your question, am in faculty of education, Jamb gives a course a different name, while UI has a different name for it. Eg on jamb form classics was classical studies while in U.I it is "classics".

Your course is teacher EDUCATION. and you will borrow minimum of 9Units for dept of "political science". It will be your teaching subject, you can even do your masters in political science. So you made no error, when you resume your "political science" would reflect.

You applied for education political science? Where did you see such course? If at all such exists UI doesn't offer education political science. Not to forfeit your admission overall they gave you something related to it, teacher education which has social science and science under it, but not equivalent to political science.

It's your fault. You should have made enquiry about the course you wish to study and make some findings about it. I don't think UI can change it, but you can give a try and explain to them. Call their careline.
