Kevlala:
I cant seem to point out any 5th July that has been paid. if no one here on this platform from 5th has been paid. Nairaland may not be a good sample size. But i expect at least one person from 5th here to have been paid to even suggest that there is a correlation.

if anyone for 5th has been paid signify by raising ur hands. Note if nobody has been paid. the whole 5th cant be successful or unsuccessful.
The same thing with July 8th. All the people I know that were interviewed on July 8th have not been reimbursed, including my friends from FUTO and other people I met at the TOWERS. If anyone here was interviewed on July 8th, let the person speak up.
Forget all the speculations, there can't be any correlation between TP REIMBURSEMENT AND APPOINTMENT LETTER.

So, as it stands, no one who was interviewed on July 8th has been paid. It's well.

And someone just told me that the payment could be state by state. So, has anyone from Ebonyi State been paid?

Please, has anyone interviewed on 8th July been paid?

He is actually kidding, those are exaggerated figures. Payments are based on Location - Lagos, 20K; Abuja, 3K; Kano, 12K; Kaduna, 6K; Jos, 12K I think...
Alright, thanks.

All these assumptions and speculations because of 2 or 3 people that claim to have received ODVI invites will soon be put to rest when the main ODVI invites start dropping.
All the different theories like waiting lists & Co. too.
I just want to urge all who have written the test and have not received regret mails to be patient, and as much as possible, start preparing for the ODVI.
ODVI is part of the preliminary stage of this recruitment process, and it defies logic that a company like Shell will just pick 2 or 3 people from the first week of application and send them ODVI, and then keep others in waiting list. How will they then hire the best brains and most qualified, which is of course their target.
Someone may ask why I think it's just 2 or 3 people. It's because I belong to many groups regarding this recruitment. And the 3 people ended up providing exactly the same SCREENSHOT as their proof of ODVI invite.
TIME will certainly set all these things straight.
Shalom!

For the benefit of you and others.

I am sharing another picture. Use same intelligence to know if this is false.
Just as I said earlier, good luck to you if it's genuine. I'd just like to let you know that someone else has shared THIS SAME SCREENSHOTS WITH ME ON WHATSAPP, which now makes it clear to me what is going on.

I am doing this to clear the doubt of those in doubt.
Congratulations! And best of luck if genuine.
Though, methinks it's not genuine. Because, ODVI this time around is stage 2 and not stage 1 as stated in your screen shot. That could be a screenshot from their last recruitment in which ODVI was part of stage 1.
Time will tell.
All the same, congrats again & best of luck if genuine
PoliticsNnamdi Kanu :a National Headache by kcduke(op): 8:46pm On Sep 09, 2017
It is obvious the name Nnamdi Kanu gives alot of people headache.
scannewsnigeria.com Sep 9, 2017 9:09 AM
They have started crying because Nnamdi Kanu is receiving accolades for the recent attempt by the southern leaders to form a common front.

Make Una no vex, no be the guy fault.

Who God bless, no man or amount of hate can change the blessing.

We all know how the southern leaders from south west, east and south went into hiding from the first day Muhammadu Buhari took over as president.

It is a known fact that even members of the APC from southern Nigeria denied that APC never promised restructuring.

It took a meeting between Nnamdi Kanu and Femi Fani Kayode in Kuje prison to open the eyes of some people to the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is fighting a just cause and should be supported by all southerners.

Today, that meeting has yielded fruit as it is no longer about APC vs PDP.

But about restructuring or disintegration!

Politicians across party lines from southern Nigeria are now coming together to discuss what they were afraid to discuss in public abinitio.

We never had a strong Ohanaeze ndi Igbo before now…. We only had political jobbers.

We never saw Afenifere, Ohanaeze and other southern social political groups agreeing on the way forward.

We never had the Governors of south east and south south come together to discuss the progress of the region.

It took the duo of Niger Delta Avengers and IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu to check Buhari’s excesses when all the politicians ran away.

Except for the likes of Fayose and Femi Fani Kayode, majority of the people at the almighty Ibadan declaration went into hiding.

Yes, Nnamdi Kanu is a small boy but with a brave mind.

Stop beefing with the guy.

Your leaders wanted restructuring but didn’t know how to talk about it under Buhari but because Nnamdi Kanu has stirred the waters, everybody has found their voices.

Today, because of IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu, Ohanaeze ndi Igbo has become pro people.

Because of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB,restructuring has become the new political topic.

Because of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, the minorities of the north have found their voices.

Nnamdi Kanu is a catalyst!

In every time and age, God sends a warrior. Today in Nigeria it is Nnamdi Kanu.

Joseph was the youngest among his brothers but God used him… Moses was a stammerer but God used him to fight Pharaoh.

While your leaders are queuing behind him, you are busy hating him on Facebook.

While the politicians are busy holding secret meetings with him, you are busy beefing.

Stop the beefing, it hurts.

Nnamdi Kanu has chosen his struggle, instead of the hate on Facebook, chose your own struggle and become a catalyst.

Quit notice on Igbos: Asari Dokubo tells “fellow Biafrans” what to do
dailypost.ng Jun 8, 2017 11:59 AM
Former Niger Delta militants leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubu has reacted to the sack of Igbos from the North, urging all “Biafran people” in the north to defend themselves in case any attack from the Northern youths.

Recall that the call for Igbos to vacate the northern region was made by some sections of northern youths during the week, and has generated reactions from prominent individuals and groups all over the country.

Although, those that made the call have retracted it, the ex-militant leader noted that every Biafran, who according to him, comprise of the Ijaw, Ogonis, Oron, and Ibibios must not lie down and die when attacked.

Asari noted that Igbo people do not invade people’s lands, nor take their properties and wondered why the call to evict them should be made.

“My brothers and Sisters, fellow Biafrans, our struggle is for independence. Let me say this to Biafran People, our struggle is not to take from any other people. We have not travelled to the North, Lagos, Ibadan to take from any other people.

“They are the ones who have been taken from us. In our entire struggle for the actualization of the Independent State of Biafra, we have not invaded other people’s land. We have always reacted strength to strength.

“We have the right to defend our lives; we have the rights to defend our properties and we have the right to defend motherland. In the defense of the motherland, we have made some great sacrifices.

“For me the Biafra struggle is not limited to one of the nationalities in Biafran land. It is the struggle of the Ibibios, the Ogonis, Oron, the Ijaws, and all the Biafran people. It is our collective struggle and collective destiny. Our resources are being wasted.

“It is not even used to develop any part of this so-called Nigerian state. Where is Nigeria developed? Can you compare any part of Nigeria to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, or Pitoria? Or Cairo or Alexandra? The only way we can get control our resources is the independent of the Biafra state.”

Here Are Nigerian States That ‘Haven’t Paid Workers in 2017’… See Full Table

Civil servants in Abia, Oyo, Benue, Ondo, Kogi, and Ekiti states have not received salaries in 2017, a survey conducted by BudgIT, a civic tech organisation, has shown.

An official statement released on Tuesday in Abuja by BudgIT Nigeria (@BudgITng) after a thorough survey, revealed that workers in Kogi, Abia, Oyo, Benue, Ondo and Ekiti states have not received salaries in 2017.

The civic tech federal government organisation, said that up to 20 states owe their workers including pensioners their entitlements ranging from one to 36 months.

BudgITng said it decided to conduct a qualitative analysis of the frequency of salary payment of six different categories of workers in all the 36 states.

According to TheCable news, the survey by BudgITng, covered primary school teachers, secondary school teachers, local government workers, state independent workers, pensioners and state secretariat workers.

A part of the statement read;

“In particular, we discovered that many states have defaulted in the payments of pensions and gratuities.

“From the survey carried out, we discovered that apart from the fact that 16 states which are yet to pay the pensions of former civil servants in their service, 8 of these states have not paid their pensioners at least 12 months’ pensions, while states like Imo, Taraba and Niger owe

“Notably, these pensioners expressed how unhappy they are, their dissatisfaction with the government and how hard it has been for them to survive.

“In addition to outstanding pensions, we note from our survey, that across all categories, states like Kogi, Abia, Benue, Oyo, Ekiti and Ondo have not paid their workers’ salaries for this year 2017; owing at least 4 months’ salary. However, the likes of Lagos and Rivers have been consistently impressive with their up to date and full payment of civil servants’ remuneration.”

It's pity many e-rats on this forum do not know or choose to ignore the fact that Niger Delta is not an ethnic group but a geographical location which has now been expanded to comprise of 9 states. 5 from south-south, 3 from South East & 1 from South West. But in a strong bid to separate the Igbos from their brothers, some go to the extent of separating South East from Niger Delta in their ignorance or self delusion.
