Hi Guys,
My visa interview was 6:30am today
I passed through the necessary screening and biometric finger print scan
The VO was a white lady in her 30s or 40s
I was the first to be interviewed by her (window 4)
My visa transcript is a bit short

VO: Hi , Good Morning
Me : Good Morning ma, How are you

VO: I am good — Can I have your passport and i20?
Me : passed them

VO: where are you going to in the US?
Me : heading to the university of Texas at Austin for a masters degree in petroleum engineering

VO: what was your 1st degree in?
Me : petroleum engineering

VO : what year did you graduate
Me : November 2016

VO : what have you been doing since graduation?
Me : I went for my Nysc in May 2017 and finished in April 2018

VO : who is sponsoring/ funding this ?
Me : The university of Texas at Austin . I got an assistantship position

She then looked at my i20
VO: “ Wow that’s very good. congrats — you got full funding as a masters student.
Me : Yes ma , Thank you

VO : So what is your future dream job?
Me : to become a reservoir engineer in top multinational oil companies such as Shell, Chevron and Exxon Mobil

VO: Congratulations, you qualify for a visa . you will be informed of the pickup
Remember to keep your i20 and passport on you at the POE . Do have a nice stay

She then hands me the white paper showing the pickup location which she had circled .
Me : Thank you ma

And I left the hall
