Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Identify A Scam Interview Invitation by kedarkrest: 12:53pm On Oct 21, 2015
IBOGIRL1:

I need not watch your video cos u already shot ursef . If u guys don't accept corpers but stil demanded for 10K for training and bondage signatory and stil called me the day after to know if I could pay in installments, then it is as I have said. U guys are fraudulent. Quit trying to salvage an already distorted brand. As uv rightly stated, there's no need for this. Goodday!

IBOGIRL1 is 100% right. WAVEACADEMY is a job scam company.
I have been there myself. They advertised customer service representative positions online, I sent my application letter and CV via their email address outreach@waveacademies.org as they requested. I quoted my B.Sc. qualification and 5 years’ experience in my CV. They invited me for interview for the same position via phone call on +2349092900155 scheduled to hold on Wednesday 21st of October but when I got to their office at No 3. Spencer Street off Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba on the interview and at the right time of 9am, I was told that the customer service position for which I applied was no more available. They went on to give an alternative in positions like Kitchen Assistant, house keeper, barman, waiter and likes with an excuse that the customer service representative position for which interview I was invited was no more available. They also went on to tell me how I must pay a N10k training fees, sign terms and conditions that I will give 1/3 of my first salary etc. even before I can get such positions I was offered in alternative. It's just pathetic what the country has turned to. I am still looking for the proper law enforcement agency where to report WAVEACADEMY.
