She is white. I have and I am also making public too. Arkmanbuddy: |
I write this petition with a deep sense of responsibility, concern, and commitment to fairness, professionalism, and respect for workers’ rights. This petition is directed at the management practices of Ms. Camiola Melissa, who oversees the operations of TY Danjuma Academy, Takum, Taraba State. Her manner of running the institution, in my view and in the view of many affected staff members, does not align with the labour laws of Nigeria, nor with globally accepted standards of ethical leadership and human resource management. Over time, it has become evident that staff members are frequently dismissed without due process. Many employees are sacked for minor issues that could easily be resolved through proper communication, counselling, queries, or warning letters. In most cases, affected staff members do not have any documented warning, query, or disciplinary report in their files before their termination. This practice goes against the principles of fairness, natural justice, and Nigerian labour regulations, which emphasize the right of workers to be heard and properly informed before any disciplinary action is taken. The absence of clear disciplinary procedures creates an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear within the organization. Staff members work under constant pressure, unsure of their job security and worried that a minor mistake could lead to sudden dismissal. This environment discourages creativity, productivity, and commitment. Instead of motivating employees to give their best, it promotes anxiety, silence, and emotional distress. Furthermore, Ms. Camiola Melissa often communicates with staff members in a condescending and disrespectful manner. Many employees feel belittled and treated as though they have no voice or dignity. The tone and approach used in addressing staff sometimes reflect an outdated and oppressive leadership style, which has no place in a modern educational institution. Employees deserve to be treated with respect, empathy, and professionalism, regardless of their position. Whenever Ms. Camiola Melissa is present in the school, there is widespread tension and fear among staff members. Rather than feeling supported by leadership, employees become anxious about losing their jobs. This culture of fear negatively affects morale, teamwork, and overall performance. A healthy organization should be built on trust, mutual respect, and open communication, not intimidation. Since the school’s inauguration in September 2025 to date, more than twelve staff members have been dismissed. Even the school’s first principal was removed under circumstances that had no direct bearing on professional performance. Furthermore, Ms. Camiola frequently issues threats to “write off,” “fire,” or “not renew the contracts” of staff members at the slightest provocation. Many of her policies are new to employees and differ significantly from what is commonly practiced in the Nigerian educational system. As a result, a period of trial and error is inevitable, especially in the early stages of the institution. Instead of dismissing staff members indiscriminately, greater effort should be made to support and develop them. The growth of staff is directly linked to the growth and long-term success of the establishment. In addition, the management structure of TY Danjuma Academy, Takum, Taraba State appears to lack adequate oversight. The institution is largely run according to the personal discretion of one individual, without a functional board of directors or independent body to ensure accountability, fairness, and compliance with labour laws. This concentration of power increases the risk of abuse and poor decision-making. I strongly recommend that the organization establish a proper board of directors or governing body to oversee operations, staff welfare, and disciplinary procedures. This board should ensure that all policies are transparent, consistent, and in line with Nigerian labour regulations. There should also be clear grievance and appeal systems where staff members can report unfair treatment without fear of retaliation. If these issues are not addressed urgently, there is a high likelihood of legal action against the institution in the future. Continued violations of workers’ rights may result in lawsuits, reputational damage, and loss of public trust. This petition is not written out of bitterness, but out of concern for justice, professionalism, and the long-term sustainability of TY Danjuma Academy, Takum, Taraba State. It is my hope that the relevant authorities will investigate these concerns and take necessary steps to protect staff members and promote ethical leadership within the organization. Warm regards, Concerned Individual.
