Career › Re: What Has More Scope: BCA Or BBA? by KellBerry10: 12:50pm On Oct 16, 2025
If you’re more into technology, coding, AI, or data-driven problem solving, then BCA (especially something like BCA in Data Science) might be your best bet. The tech world is booming with demand for people who understand AI, machine learning, cloud, and data analytics — all of which are super valuable right now and will only grow. You can move into roles like Data Analyst, AI Engineer, or even transition into a full-fledged Data Scientist after some upskilling.

On the flip side, BBA is more about management, marketing, finance, and business operations. It’s great if you see yourself in leadership or want to start your own business later. The scope is strong too, but in a different way — it’s more about strategy and people management than pure tech.

If you ask me, both have amazing potential — it just depends on your interest. Like, if tech and data excite you more than market trends and business plans, go for BCA in Data Science. I’ve seen a lot of students at K.R. Mangalam University doing this program and getting into some pretty cool data-centric roles — so yeah, it’s definitely worth looking into if you’re leaning toward tech!
