Very ugeeeeleee creature

Wowwww

This is actually an amazing discussion. They're pros & cons eitherwy.
Having an ancestral name or family compound or clan name anchors large families together. Excellent for tracing lineages .
A good middle tier (first-urs/middle-fathers/last-grandfathers) is an interesting alternative. Just hearing about this
For the last, those who want to plant their own lineage directly to their children do so for many reasons. (first-urs/middle-x/last-fathers)
Once in a while I'd say it's good to branch out for historic reasons, but for most is to escape/get rid of a toxic family. Male siblings have kids that share entirely different names.

Had a friend who recently gave his first kid two Western names (hers along with his first name) to which we both lol'd.
To this he owes to his spiritual/religious inclination coupled with the 'diabolism' of his village people..
It's all valid. Everyone will be forgotten regardless!

Click the icon on the top right corner of your screen.

hey, you might want to consder a separate tab that pulls all videos or topics with video posted to your site, or front page, or whatever.
some people would prefer to engage that way.

Before when they started they were even always notifying us and send us messages when the current subscription is about to expire.

Now they don't even send messages anymore, the connection will just end and leave you stranded, and when you check that is when you realize your sub has expired 🤦🏽‍♂️

The whole thing is shite

I guess they're just not consistent with procedures. Some people mentioned receiving increment notification via text when a proper EMAIL should've sufficed disseminating info properly. About subscription reminders, I still get those TXT like every day 3 days straight leading to expiry used to be 7days straight lol

Worst thing about the whole fibrex increment debacle over the last month is I still haven't OFFICIALLY been notified from MTN about the increment. I think that's the very least one can expect from an Internet service based company. Is this an indication of how things are run from the top, Or they were truly trying to sneak it in (silly)? We had the flyers circulating over the net (could've been rumours), then the silence (patiently waiting) & then boom.. service interruption. How do you run a company this way??
Which phone number, can be used in MTN FIBER X
MTN of course.

My FibreX just got installed today in the morning and am yet to see any info about username and password from MTN. The installer said they will send it in 7 hours with the login details. Is more than 9 hours now. This is what is showing . What am I suppose to do

Check under/bottom of the device for the SSID & WPA respectively. Congrats!

...una notice any issues signing in to PSN or playing games online with MTN FibreX? Since yesterday, when I got mine activated, I've been able to update firmware, update games, but for some reason, I cannot play games online. Every time I "Test Connection", I get a NAT Type Failed error, and it never connects. Funny thing is, I can see friend updates on the home screen as if I was connected to PSN, i can even enter PS Store, but I just cannot play with the NAT type error...I don check online for possible solutions like enabling UPnP in the router admin, changing to Google DNS in the WiFi setup on my PS4, and other things, but it just won't connect. Anybody get solution?Because I wan try game and stream this weekend.

Good news. bad news...
Bad news, you might not be able to stream this weekend.
Good news, I encountered the same PSN connectivity issues on console with MTN fibreX.
Also did some research on the UPnP, turns out this setting is disconnected/unavailable on the ZTE router version.
Some suggested it was even better to have this settings disabled. I just gave some time & it started connecting.
Till date, the NAT type error still dey dere while I'm ballin COD...so just give it a while.

... once mtn are done having good numbers of subscribers first thing they'll do is to increase the subscription and give you people shity network...

Just take what you can & move on with life, there will be other options.

I will update you again next month sire 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Bro, there's no need for the update.
Just understand that he's trying to give you perspective on pros & cons.
All over the world today, wherever Fibre rolls out, Starlink gets retired for obvious reasons.
Even Starlink isn't marketed to compete with fibre, plus we're not really getting that great speeds for the Starlink in Abuja & Lagos compared to advertised.
MTN Fibre X has also come to my Estate & I have been testing it out simultaneously for 2 months, it's been great! Probably by the end of the year, I will keep my Starlink as a good backup or take it along to the village or something.
