The “Wonderful” crooner beats off competition from the likes of South Africa’ Sho Madjozi, UK Grime act, Stormzy, rapper Dave and many others.

Wizkid however had a celebration to make as he emerged winner through Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl” which won the “BET HER Award”.

Mavins youngster Rema however lost to Zimbabwe’s “Sha Sha” in the Viewers Choice: Best New International Act.
