Lagos is not the only state as border or with access to the Atlantic yet it is the most viable with using whatnit has to get whatbit wants.
Moreso Akwa Ibom like other states would do well to attarct business to themselves to increase their IGR and stop depending on FG. Most times the allocation from FG is wasted and not spent wisely.

Lagos beats them all hands down with managing its resources which alos includes human capital.

However the human capacity to infrastructure is eeally starjned hence other states and FG hasnto bucklebup so as to avoid implosion in Lagos due to over population

Those COYs came/choose to Lagos for a reason...Favorable working environment.

Any new company now first seeks its head office in Lagos before spreading out to other parts of the country.
Even non Lagosians troop in daily to lagos due to the infrastructure put in place.

Hence dont make it seem the money was dashed to Lagos.
A rich man that utilises his resources well ultimately becomws richer. That is one rule other governors need to learn

I have been to uyo. The state capital(and I wonder why akpabio has abandoned the other LG areas in the state by concentrating fully on only the capital) is quite beautiful and clean but lagos is still ahead of the state in every ramification. Akwa ibom gets more than 230billion allocation(more than many African countries) and lagos gets peanuts, and yet fashola has executed more projects than akpabio.

Well If is cleanliness, I will give it to uyo.

Those IGR was a result of the hard work of Tinubu Fashola and Ambode during the Obasanjo era.

Lagos worked for it and others should develop their states to generate same.
IGR is not dashed but erabed through planning and execution of favorable policies.

u didn't consider the internally generated revenue of lagos which should run in close to trillion(s) plus d neck cutting high tax rate in lagos. Lagos earns by far more than akwa ibom. U also forgot to include dat lagos is in big debt unlike akwa ibom. Check all d inside roads in lagos u will see they are in bad shape
