Good day Sir, pls any hope for NRS hopefuls ? Are they done with the presidential list? Will they still share Apls for those of us with just our connect that isn't a politician? My referee said she's hopeful that my name is on the list but that the villa list is too long but over 1yr already. I'm so depressed tbh

A lot of us our connections are really strong, not all connections are working enough for FIRS job no matter how strong it is, it's more of luckiest people now. Hussaini said he saw people with presidency connections that recently received their APLs, imagine even presidency it took longer because FIRS started sharing APLs more than a year ago and they didn't get theirs until recently.

They collect CVs and get Apls immediately while us with just our connect, money and no political connection have been waiting for over a year. Bro at point make we dey move on oo. If you don't have a strong political connect you may not stand a chance in NRS!

Good day everyone, I have not commented for a long time but it doesn't mean i was not following up on updates.
I want to inform us that NRS have not shared ApL for a long time now. I followed it up internally every day. If anyone tells you that they are sharing please kindly run, we have 419 guys in this platform. Both NDIC and NRS will soon be out . They are compiling name's. Kindly stick with your connect. Something might come up after this Salah when our Boss returns from Salah break.

My connect said the problem is that the aso villa list is long and that of other high stake holders. Please the list they are compiling hope it will include us with just our connect 🙏

The villa list is prolonging the process, they give them almost immediately then slot in our list little by little maybe

Is there a big connection than a national assembly or Presidency?

I know many people who received their documentation calls just days after the Chairman received their CVs. You are right; many National Assembly candidates are still awaiting emails for documentation.

A friend of mine, who is also active on this forum, had his name submitted along with others. Out of 18 people, only seven or so received the email and completed their documentation. He was frustrated and dejected, but he didn't give up. He visited the FIRS headquarters with the help of an aide to the Minister and was assured he would be called.

He managed to get the phone number of the person in charge and kept following up—in fact, I even helped him call the man. Eventually, the official told him to check his email on a specific day and report for documentation. He has been working there since last year. To this day, some people on the same list submitted by the Minister have still not been contacted. I could provide more details, but the person in question might not appreciate it.

My fear regarding the FIRS is that their current recruitment style might lead to overstaffing and future retrenchments, similar to what happened at the CBN. While it seems like a great opportunity right now, I worry about the long-term implications."

I spoke with my referee yesterday she said the connect said that my name is in the top most of the list to be called next, but the problem is that the aso villa is long and that is what is causing our delay, politicians too when they bring their list they immediately get slots.

People should move on guy, they're just calling different people away from old slot lists, and after January the possibility of calling people is very narrow. Connection is not working anymore.

Unfortunately, as at now, only slot candidates are getting attention, and the are still very many that are yet to be called. This includes both entry level and EH.

Please are they still recruiting at least for slot candidates? May will make it 1yr I started this process

I don't think it has to do with the budget, because the number of the recruitment has been approved in the current budget. However, the next budget will take months to be signed by Mr president.
