Many of the scholarship I've seen have an age barrier of not more than 35 years and that's what has discouraged me.

I didn't want to mention figures here but you can actually earn much more than your monthly salary from work through ventures like Digital Marketing, Affiliate Marketing or E-commerce.

But I'd like to advise that you keep your options open. From your statement, you don't want a 'marketing job', but what if your breakthrough is in a marketing job?

If you're open to learning, you can actually learn things like Digital Marketing, E-commerce or Mini importation. These things are proven to give a fortune, especially in this Digital age where most things are online.

Taking a step to learn might just be the breakthrough you need.

Thanks for your concern. I'm open to learning a digital skill but I also have a family to feed. I can always learn a digital skill while I work to put food on the table for my family.

I'm writing this here because I believe it will will have a wider audience compared to being in the job/vacancy section.

I hope I get helper(s) from good people of Nairaland because there are many great people on this forum.

Please, I need a job to sustain myself and family right now. I am a 35 year old man with a wife and 2 little children to take care of. I stay in Ibadan but I'm ready to relocate to any part of Nigeria apart from the northeast.

I have B.Agriculture in Forestry with First Class honors. I also have M.Sc in Forest Resources Management (Distinction grade) all from UI.

I have a year experience as a Sales Manager before I resigned to venture into agriculture (arable crop farming) in 2016. Everything went fine until 2019 before things went south. I did carpentry work to gather money then so that I can learn Front End Development. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the program because I exhausted my savings.

Please if anyone has a job or anything that I can do that is legal apartfrom marketing job, I'm readily available.

I started Okrika business few months back but I carried 2 consecutive bales late last month and early this month and it has wrecked me because the clothes inside the bale were not up to standard and it has been back to back losses. I have tried many things and I'm just tired of everything right now. I feel for my family as I'm unable to take care of them.
