messymelly: I ordered note7 yesterday written global version I chatted the seller he told me its CN version now I want to cancel my order before shipment will I get full refund
Only cancel the order if the chinese version is cheaper than the global version. I think there isn't much difference between them besides more languages and a few more 4G bands
macbeyland: Difference between the Original and Copy Version of the Xiaomi 2c 20,000mah power bank based on test carried out by me.
So on Friday, I finally laid my hands on the copy version of xiaomi 2c 20,000mah power bank which a Chinese supplier sent to me instead of the original.
Result of the test carried out.
The first difference you would notice is the verification label and code on the package. On the original power bank, the website for verification is chaxun.mi.com. This link takes you to the official xiaomi website for verification, website is secure. On the copy brand however, you get a label also but the website for verification is chaxunmi.cn. This address takes you to a clone xiaomi website that is not secure.
On the content of the package, the USB cable that comes in both package look similar but the one in the original one looks more flexible and slightly lighter while the one in the copy brand feels rigid.
On the power bank itself, the original is slightly heavier and more compact than the copy version. The copy brand has this slightly hollow feel to it when you tap it with your finger.
On the USB interface on the power bank, the original is white in color with mi logo created very tiny inside. You have to look well to see it. On the copy brand, the usb interface is dark in color without mi logo there.
On the power indicator light, the original looks cool and friendly to the eyes but on the copy brand, the light looks so sharp and not so friendly to the eyes. In fact, this is a major difference one would notice.
Out of the box, the original power bank usually comes with just one light of power (charge) while the copy brand comes with full 4 power charge.
Both the original and the copy brand have QC 3.0 output and input charge, meaning they both charge fast. However, for one weird reason, when I tried the copy brand on the mi max 3, it refused to show the fast charging screen indicator even when it was obvious that the phone was charging very rapidly. I got the max 3 battery from 48% to 82 percent in around 1 hour. Personally, I am tempted to think that the copy brand even charges faster than the original lol, maybe same speed but certainly, the copy doesn't charge less fast. I am suspecting that the copy brand might have pump express capability also. This is not verified though.
In terms of LED indicator accuracy, I think that the copy brand is less accurate. The main strength lies in the 4 full lights on. It takes a very long time to drop one light but once that happens, it doesn't take too long to get to empty charge. Same also applies when charging the power bank. The original one however is perfectly accurate in indication both for charging and discharging.
When using the power bank to charge, the light indicator of both the original and the copy brand are different… The original one charges with all the lights that show battery status blinking at the same time. On the copy brand, the light indicators don't blink. They just stay stable. When charging the power bank however, both original and copy have similar light display behavior.
I used the copy brand to charge my redmi note 5 and it charged it full with the 4 light indicators still there without any dropping. Also used it to charge max 3 from 48 percent to 82 percent before it died. Note however, that I didn't use the copy power bank fully charged. I was still charging it yesterday when I had to turn off my generator midnight, also, it was the same power bank that I used to run my USB fan for 7 hours till day break. It was this morning that I used it for this test after it had served my USB fan.
On the whole, I am pleased with the copy brand in that it has QC 3.0 but I feel it might not hold up to 20,000mah battery inside. This I have not verified.
VERDICT Overall, I think the copy brand doesn't perform as well as the original especially in power retention. I might be wrong though. However, I believe you get value for what you pay if you buy it from 6 thousand naira and below.
Is the Xiaomi power bank 3 worth buying over the 2c? What's the difference between the 2 sir?

Mckandre: dont fash bro after watching this video u will know that redmi note 7 pro camera is on par with note 7 camera. With gcam, note 7 trashed the pro version hands down. its no surprise that xiaomi reduced the stock camera app capabilities on the note 7 to suit their marketing strategy. The processor myt boast of high performance on paper but everything fell on same line with the note 7, maybe a bit faster when opening apps but u hardly notice a difference when using the note 7. What about the gpu? U will be surprised that the adreno 612 in pro version is the adreno 512 with new codename. The note 7 pro is a gud device no fuss, coupled with 11nm manufacturing process for power efficiency but when it comes in value for money nd gimmick, I'll pick value.
Uhmmm the Pro is definitely better than the normal version. The stock camera of the pro beat the normal one hands down in this review.... And the guy clearly said 4he gcam for 7 pro isn't perfect yet
[1quote author=IKON360 post=77103044]All anticipating buyers of Redmi note 7 pro, an extremely in depth review of the phone is on xda developers. You may not understand somethings but that review is very detailed[/quote]
dcolumbus001: Please guys i need your sincere advice I wanted to buy an infinix note 5 but after comparing the specs with RN7 pro so fact the only distinct difference i have seen the infinix edges pass the RN7 pro is the battery (am a battery person) and the sim slot..
What's your sincere advice please
The battery edge you say I finix note 5 has is just 300mah.... It pales compared to the Redmi note 7 talk less of the pro.... Can't wait to buy my note 7 pro and dump this infinix note 4 pro I've been carrying around
Gptech: Don't tell me you are still over the megapixel ish up to this moment. Even the 48mp of the Redmi note 7 pro is not expected to do great in low light, we know what to expect with no ois, mid range processor and some other important missing hardwares.
So you're saying the note 7 pro isn't worjt the additional money? We should just stick to the note 7?
Kenny903: Yes but there's a 4.0 charger that can charge it from 0 to 100 in almost half the time the charger it comes with can. Follow come charger is 10W, the other one is 18W
Can anyone currently using the note 7 give feedback on its charging please?

IKON360: Yesterday after the launch of redmi note 7 pro, I was rather sad that the phone I had boasted to my schoolmates by our call to bar was way beyond my budget, but I thought about it. Redmi released note 7 earlier this year in 3gb 32gb, 4gb 64gb and 6gb 64gb versions, and the phone sold 1 million pieces in a month, then they released the redmi note 7 pro. If it was released in 4gb 64gb version it affect the sales of redmi note 7 adversely, and they might make losses, so they released the RN7PRO in 6gb 128gb version alone, that way RN7PRO won't affect the sales of RN7. In essence Redmi have a brilliant marketing team. They broke my heart but its a brilliant strategy. All hail Redmi by Xiaomi.
I took almost all day yesterday pondering and doing research, lastast I'll still buy the pro... Will just hold back on the air dots and quick charger for now.
I was low-key waiting for the note 7 pro, but with this price tag, I'll just order for the Note 7 jeje... I mean I'll rather buy the Pocophone F1 at that price instead.
