Hello my people, I want to go to Abuja to collect my visa, I have the application number already. But I was told I will do a medical check up. My question is, should I do it here in Lagos or do it in Abuja? Which one is preferable? Or is there a specific hospital they recommends? |
faliowino:I still don't get this, I think the agent must have paid in Dunai already. |
faliowino:Wasnt online, but I replied to the mail I received from the site itself. |
Hello my people, after authenticating and attested of my Police Character Certificate in Abuja and sent to the agent in Dubai to collect the visa out for me, (working visa) the agent only send a screenshot that contain application number He said, the employment visa, according to the new law, countries that have UAE embassy in their country like Nigeria, when their visa is out, they send them the visa application form that contain application number, then print and take it to the UAE embassy themself to put the sticker on their passport by the consulate and can travel then, there is no other procedure on arriving to UAE like before. This are the documents I was asked to take alongs to the UAE embassy: 1) passport copy 2 ) Drivers licence (Because I applied for a driving work under RTA) 3) Education Certificates 4) Police Clearance Certificate 5) 4 passport size photos 6) Print out of Visa application form. And any other relevant documents. The sticker is ready at the consulate in Nigeria. ***What can you say to this my people? ***The Application Form that has Application Number has been sent to me already. Thanks so much in advance. |
BAY1759:I really don't understand because this is my first time, either the passport or the visa need to be stamped. But what I think is that, maybe he just want me to have the visa stamp by the UAE to prove its valid, or can the Visa be put on passport from the Embassy? Maybe that's what he is trying to say. The PCC is out of it, because I just need that to collect the visa after it has been attested. |
HenryCavill:I will advice you to send it to Abuja to do the attestation at once. The reason why I said so is because I only authenticate mine at the Nigeria ministry of external affairs in Abuja and send it to my agent, it was accepted and the visa is out....but now they say they're not going to realease the visa until I get the certificate attested at their UAE in Nigeria after it has already been authenticated at the Nigeria ministry of external affairs. |
Hello my people, I finally found someone I know in Abuja to do the attestation of the Police Certificate for me. But I was asked by the agent to go and put stamp on my passport at the embassy at once, once I received it. Can I asked the same person to stamp it on my behalf? Will they stamp it for him? And by the way, is it the passport I'm going to put stamp on or the visa itself? And also my passport is still a virgin, what should I expect before travelling? Big thanks to you all! |
Hello my people, please I want to authenticates my Police report certificate at UAE embassy in Abuja and I'm here in Lagos, how can I go about it? Are there some people who specialise in doing it? It's urgent because my visa is already out, I was first asked by the agent to attested it at the Nigeria Ministry of External Relation, now visa is out and they say I must attested it at the UAE embassy before he can able to collect it. |
mcobex:Thanks brother! I've heard what you said. I actually did make more finding about it online, about the new rules I mean, and I found out the new rule just take effect from 4th Febuary 2018, probably the reasons for delaying. And the ballance is to be paid on arriving to Dubai. I'm just wondering maybe some people have succeeded in getting a working visa withing January till now, to prove him wrong if he is lieing. |
Hello my people, please I need help to confirm if I'm being lied to or not. I just came back from Ivory Coast last year December to process a travelling to Dubai from Nigeria (working visa). But while searching for an agent my elder brother who stay in Ivory Coast told me he has got a contact of a friend from Dubai who can do it for me. I didnt hesitate at all since he is my blood brother and always want the best for me. I was told there is Taxi driving available, and they will get me driving visa that include 3 years residents, but before I can start I will have to come over and pass through RTA training and also convert my license to Emirate license before I can able to drive. They said the total cost will be 10,000 aed which will cover, visa, accomodation for three months, RTA training and medical examination. And I will also spend extra money to convert my driver license. And I agreed with them. I was asked to pay 60% first or all at once, but I paid 60% which is 6,000 aed on 26/12/2017. I was given two weeks for the visa to be ready, but unfortunately when the two weeks is almost over the guy has to request for another documents (Police Character Certificate and must be attested at ministry of external relations in Nigeria) required by the UAE new law, which mean the process has not started yet, before I was only asked to provide my (1) passport copy (2) Copy of Driver license both Nigeria and Ivory Coast (3) Highest qualification which is my WAEC result. I quickly went to Alagbon to get the paper done, it was sent to Abuja for the attestation and took six days before it was ready, after that, I scanned and send to the man in Dubai on 14/01/2018. I was told it will be ready in two weeks, but ever since then the man keep postponing next week, next week up till now. When I asked why its taking long, he said it is because of the new law. I don't know if I should believe him or not, I'm just tired and lost interest already. I knew about Uber, but never know how they work, when I understand how Uber work, I think to myself is better to buy a good car and start Uber in Nigeria but I will have to get my money back before I can able to. Then I asked the man if he can withdrawn the visa processing, he told me, I'm going to lose a non refundable fee of 2500aed which is closer to 250,000 naira. Maybe he is lieing I dont know. What can you say to this my people? Please help me out. And the guy also said I will be living with him, which is not our agreement, but I can't argue with that since the visa is not even ready yet. Is it better to be sharing a place with someone? I will be so grateful to hear your advices amd opinions. Thanks to you all! |
